If you are here maybe you are having one of those moments maybe you looked in the mirror and immediately found something you don't like maybe you've been comparing yourself Maybe you've been thinking about what you should change.
Or maybe you're simply tired.
Of being at war with your body.
For the next few minutes you don't have to love your body You don't have to convince yourself that everything is beautiful.
You don't even have to feel good about it.
Let's just take a break from judging it.
Put one hand somewhere on your body that feels comfortable your arm,
Your stomach,
Your chest,
Wherever feels okay.
And just feel your hand.
Touching your body.
Don't change anything.
Don't pull anything in.
Don't fix your posture.
Don't try to look better.
Just let your body be exactly as it is right now.
Feel the warmth of your hands the pressure.
The simple feeling of touch.
For a moment.
Forget what your body looks like.
And just notice what it feels like to be here.
Your mind may have opinions.
That's okay.
It may point out something you don't like.
It may compare,
It may criticize.
You don't have to argue with it.
But you don't have to join in either.
Just come back to your hand.
To the feeling of your body from the inside.
Your body is not only something to look at,
It's also the place you are living from and maybe you've spent enough time today looking at it from the outside.
But for now.
.
.
Come back inside.
Feel your hand again.
Feel your breathing notice that your body is here,
Without asking you to have an opinion about it.
Maybe nothing about your body has changed.
And that's okay.
We weren't trying to change you.
Maybe the goal isn't to love everything you see,
Maybe for this moment it's simply to stop attacking yourself.
You don't have to love your body right now.
Just don't leave it alone with your criticism.
Stay here for a moment,
Just feeling.
Not measuring,
Not comparing.
Not fixing Just here.
And when you are ready.
.
.
Continue with your day.
Your body doesn't need to earn the right to be treated with a little more kindness
