Welcome.

Today let's use our five senses to ground gratitude into our bodies.

Starting with the sense of touch.

Imagine or remember something that was wonderful to touch today.

Maybe it was a soft blanket.

Maybe someone put a kind hand on your shoulder.

Maybe it was a pet that you could touch.

Remembering these feelings,

Being so grateful and happy that you had that sense of touch,

And bringing all those sensations,

Those feelings,

That gratitude back like a magnet to your body.

And then remembering the sense of smell.

What did you smell today that made you happy?

Maybe it was the smell of coffee or tea in the morning.

Maybe there was something that was very fragrant or even just a familiar smell that makes you happy.

And again magnetizing that memory,

That gratitude,

That happiness back into you,

Into your body.

Now remembering something that you tasted today.

Something that was delicious.

And remembering all that deliciousness,

The sensations in your mouth,

In your taste buds,

The refreshment to your body.

Even a clean,

Clear,

Cool glass of water and the sensation of all that cool,

Clean,

Clear,

Crisp water going down your throat and refreshing your entire body.

Now thinking of a sound that was particularly pleasurable,

Wonderful and relaxing or joyful.

Maybe it was the sound of a laughing baby,

Maybe some birds,

Or even the sound of a loved one speaking softly and kindly.

And finally think about your sense of sight.

What is something that was gorgeous,

Beautiful,

Maybe something outside your window that you can see in nature.

The way the light plays on the leaves or the way a sunbeam comes through your window and makes a beautiful sunny spot inside.

And remembering something today that you saw that was beautiful,

That filled you with pleasure,

That made you smile.

And bringing all that pleasure,

That remembrance,

That gratitude,

That gratefulness back to you,

Back to your body.

Magnetizing all five senses,

All these senses,

All these sensory experiences back to the body.

Feeling the fullness,

Feeling the liveness,

Thanking yourself for doing this meditation and bringing all this joy into your life and into the world.
