A sound healing meditation.
Some people like to call it a sound bath as the sound literally bathes you and as you absorb it similar to sitting in a bath.
We're going to do just that today.
We're going to have a chance to imagine ourselves in the forest bathing and cleansing but first we're going to start by taking a long deep inhalation in breathing it in through your nose filling your big ootabelly and releasing it with a sigh.
Just let it go.
We're going to take another long deep inhalation.
Imagining your breath coming in from the top of your head and passing through your throat,
Your heart,
Passing through your core and releasing it to the ground as we begin to activate our body.
Take another long deep inhalation in imagine the breath drying in from the ground beneath you.
Passes through your body,
Your heart,
Your throat and releases through the top of your head.
As we cycle our breath we begin to connect our body,
Our mind and our spirit.
Open a long,
Long,
Deep breath.
Drawing in your breath,
Imagine it coming from the floor and passing through your core,
Your heart center,
Your throat,
Through the top of your head and just release that energy.
Settle into your space just a little bit more by releasing any tension you're holding on to in your back or shoulders,
Your chest,
Your stomach,
Your legs,
Your arms and hands and forehead.
Just release and let go.
Allowing whatever ground you're sitting on to support you fully.
Gently,
Releasing,
Letting go.
Breathing in the sound into your heart center.
As we activate and awaken within.
Begin to set an intention for today's meditation.
It can be a catalog of words that come to you or just one thing.
Bringing in love and joy,
Abundance,
Healing,
Creativity,
Activating our inner truth and wisdom.
Releasing the old and it taking in the new.
And we breathe in deeply as we activate this intention within.
Allowing the deep tones to bring you to the base of a mountain.
And we call upon you now to support us in this journey where we choose to cleanse and let go.
And so we ask them to guide us to the place in which we can cleanse a pool,
A spring of water up high in the mountain.
We begin to walk up and around and through the forest,
Beautiful lush forest.
With each step we let go.
We leave something behind in each footprint that we travel up and through.
Until you find yourself at the pool of clear blue green water.
And this water is there for you to cleanse,
To release and let go and wash away.
