Gently find your way to the floor.
Using a pillow under the backs of the legs.
And another pillow under the back of the head.
Feel free to cover up with a blanket.
And we'll work with the practice of two to one breathing.
Once you feel comfortable.
Turn your attention back to breath.
In two-to-one breathing.
You're allowing your exhalation breath to get twice as long as your inhalation breath.
Start by keeping track.
Counting the length of each inhale breath.
So if you're breathing to the count of two or three,
Just notice.
At some point,
See if you can extend your exhalation breath to twice as long as your in-breath.
So if you're inhaling to the count of 2 or 3,
Exhaling to the count of 4 or 6.
It may take several breaths to fall into a comfortable rhythm.
And that rhythm may change.
You might go from a 3-6 rhythm.
To a 4-8 rhythm.
But don't force the breath.
Relaxing the breath.
Let it extend naturally.
Settling into this two-to-one breathing rhythm.
And now allowing your breath to return to a rhythm that's just right for you.
Settling with the effects of two-to-one breathing.
