I'm Susan Schloss and I welcome you to your Abundance Meditation.
In this meditation,
We'll experience giving and receiving.
Begin by settling into the body and coming into a relaxed state so that you can allow your intuition to flow easily.
Become aware of any tension in the body and let it roll off the body.
Relax the shoulders,
The jaw,
Release the forehead,
Let the belly go,
The hips,
The legs,
The ankles,
And the feet.
Release any holding in the arms,
The wrists,
And the hands.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Another deep inhale and on the exhale,
Letting all tension leave the body.
Bring awareness now to the heart space at the center of the chest and notice any feelings that are present.
Allowing any emotions without judgment and let go of any tension in the heart.
Relax the heart.
Now bring awareness to the mind.
Notice any activity in the mind.
Relax the mind.
If thoughts come,
Let them float through like a cloud in the sky.
Now set your attention on the breath.
Watch the natural flow of the inhales and exhales.
Let the exhales extend a little bit longer than the inhales.
You might breathe in to the count of four and exhale to the count of six if that's comfortable for you.
All awareness on the breath.
Inhaling to the count of four,
Exhaling to the count of six.
I invite you now to rest the backs of your hands on your thighs so the palms are facing up.
See,
Sense,
Or imagine that energy is coming into the left hand,
Moving through the heart and leaving through the right hand.
Imagine the energy coming into the left hand on the inhale,
Moving through the heart,
And out the right hand on the exhale,
Receiving through the left hand,
Offering your gifts and service through the right hand.
Breathing in through the left,
Receiving into the heart.
Breathing out through the right,
Offering your heart to the world.
Stay with this for a few cycles.
And as you do,
Notice,
Is it more comfortable to receive or give?
No judgment,
Bringing awareness to the experience of receiving and giving.
Now use your intention to create a steady flow of receiving and giving,
Allowing love to fill your heart on the inhale,
And fully sending your love out to the world on the exhale.
If there is something that you'd like to receive in your life,
You can bring that intention now,
Receiving on the inhale and allowing that desire to come in to your heart.
If there's something that you're yearning to give,
Allow that desire to fill your heart and send it out.
What is it like to feel this cycle of giving and receiving?
This cycle of giving and receiving is the nature of abundance.
Feel yourself in the energy of abundance.
Feel yourself as abundance.
Now bring awareness back to the body.
Feel the connection to the surface that you're on.
Become aware of your surroundings.
And with a little smile of gratitude,
Gently open your eyes.
