Hello Cosmic Explorer.

Let's move our body for a moment.

Wrap your arms around you like you're giving yourself a hug.

And shake.

And wiggle.

And shake.

And wiggle.

And shake.

And wiggle.

And relax.

Release your arms down.

Take a deep inhale through your nose.

And exhale it out of your mouth.

Do this a couple more times.

Inhale through your nose.

And release it out of your mouth.

Inhale through your nose.

Exhale out of your mouth.

Okay,

If you need to you can do this a couple more times until you feel like you've gotten rid of any kind of heaviness or stickiness you might feel in your body.

And once you've gotten all that out,

Or as much as you can,

Close your eyes.

And imagine yourself in your favorite place.

Maybe it's the park.

Or your bedroom.

Maybe it's the place you're in right now.

Maybe it's somewhere with your pet.

Or somewhere in nature.

But just go there.

Keeping your eyes closed.

Go there with your imagination.

And if you can focus clear enough to make yourself feel like you are really there.

Because in your mind,

You actually are there.

Just continue to enjoy and relax in your favorite place.

And while you're doing keeping your eyes closed,

Staying relaxed,

I have a few thoughts I'd like to share with you before we take our adventure.

You probably hear your parents or other adults talk about the benefits of meditation.

But the truth is meditation is probably going to be a different experience for you.

You see,

As most people get older,

They start to use their imagination less.

They experience more stress and they forget how important it is to let their minds dream.

To fantasize.

To wonder.

A lot of adults experience stress and anxiety and maybe even sadness because they've forgotten how magical life is and how powerful their minds are.

Dear dreamer,

In this meditation,

Let your mind wander,

Wonder,

And spin into imagination.

And let the magic of your inner self guide you.

You are unique.

Special.

There's no one on this planet that's like you.

And in that uniqueness,

There is power.

Because no one has experienced the world in the way that you do.

Don't ever try to change that.

Again,

A lot of adults experience stress or sadness because they've forgotten the power in their uniqueness and they're trying to be like somebody else instead of loving and embracing the magic of who they are.

The beauty of your mind and the power of your heart are the greatest tools you have in this life.

Never stop loving yourself exactly as you are.

Never stop being your own best friend.

Astral cosmonaut,

Are you ready to use your powerful mind,

Your magical imagination to journey into a special,

Peaceful place that is your creation?

If you want,

You can lay down or sit still.

It's okay if you still feel a little squirmy.

Just try to keep your mind calm and focused.

This is how we control our power of creation.

It's through our imagination.

All of us struggle to stay focused and some of us struggle a little more.

But when we use our imagination to create things that we find exciting and beautiful,

It's easier to focus.

So imagine yourself like an artist or an inventor.

Your meditation journey is your invention,

Your work of art.

Make it something that interests you,

That you find exciting and beautiful.

So as you settle in,

Eyes closed,

Your body's relaxed.

We're going to begin our journey in a mystical garden.

This garden is something that you are creating in your mind.

So make it something that is unique to what you like.

Maybe it looks more like a park or a forest or a jungle or the beach or the mountains.

But in this natural place,

There are many beautiful things like trees or flowers or butterflies of every color.

Keep picturing this place.

Keep seeing the details.

Make it your mystical garden or your magical place in nature.

Make it a place that you want to play in,

That you want to relax in,

That you want to explore in.

And there are animals here.

All the animals in your magical garden are kind and gentle.

And as you start to picture the animals,

There's one particular animal that immediately becomes your friend.

Picture this animal.

Use your imagination.

What kind of animal is it?

It can be something that's real or something that you create in your imagination.

It might be a pet you already know or a wild animal that you've always wanted to spend time with.

Or maybe it's an animal that we don't see in the regular world,

Like a dragon or a unicorn.

Spend some time with this magical animal.

Figure out how to communicate with it.

Maybe it talks like humans do.

Or maybe it speaks to you in your mind.

Maybe it's a feeling that you get when you're communicating.

Or maybe it's the way you act around each other that becomes a kind of communication.

This animal is going to journey with you and help you feel safe and supported.

You feel peaceful and happy around this animal.

This animal makes you feel comfortable.

It's your friend and a bodyguard.

And even if the animal is small,

It has powers that it uses to keep you feeling safe and loved.

And because this animal is magical,

It is also very wise.

So if you have any questions,

Ask the animal.

Focus.

Pay attention.

And see what this animal says.

Okay,

Now you and your animal are going to walk out of the garden to the edge of a cliff.

It's a very tall cliff.

And the valley below is huge and beautiful.

It almost takes your breath away.

It's just so huge and gorgeous.

As you stand at the edge of the cliff,

You feel this kind of excitement.

It's not the nervous excitement you might get on the first day of school.

It's the kind of excitement you get like on your birthday or when you're going to do something fun and new.

As you look down into the valley,

You kind of feel like you're looking onto your life.

Like you're watching the movie of your life.

And it's exciting and kind of challenging to look at.

It's new and maybe even a little bit scary.

Not a bad kind of scary.

The kind of scare you might get when you're about to do something new.

But it's something that you want to do.

And you're going to go into it with your imagination.

So you get to create the journey of your life.

If your animal companion can fly and it's big enough for you to get onto its back,

Then you'll be flying on your animal over this valley.

If your animal can't fly,

Then you can imagine it becoming a flyer or maybe a giant eagle or a dragon or a flying carpet touches down beside you and you and your animal climb on top.

Whatever flying thing you're on,

Now's the time for takeoff.

And you fly smoothly off of the cliff and soar over the huge beautiful valley.

You're not even afraid of being so high off the ground.

The feeling of the wind around you gives you the most exciting goosebumps.

You feel so free,

So light,

So invincible.

And now you realize that you are in control of the journey.

This is the time to use your imagination to fly through your life.

Like you're looking down onto your life.

Like you're watching the coolest movie.

What do you want to see happen in your life?

What do you want to imagine in the future?

Maybe you want to visit someplace far away.

Maybe you want to watch yourself when you're older.

Maybe you want to leave the planet and visit some other place in the universe.

This is your journey.

This is your adventure.

There is nothing you can't do.

But imagine peaceful,

Beautiful,

Exciting things so that your mind feels peaceful,

So your body feels peaceful and free.

So you can bring this peaceful fun into your real life when you're done with this meditation.

So keep flying.

Keep dreaming.

Keep imagining.

And enjoy experiencing your life.

Now imagine that you've entered a space that is all sky and big fluffy clouds.

The clouds are so soft and white,

Like bunny fur,

Like velvet.

But these clouds are different.

You can fly through them,

But you can also lay on top of them.

So find a huge,

Soft,

Fluffy cloud to lay on.

Maybe you want to jump on it a bit like a ginormous trampoline.

You find that you can do flips and roll around in it so easily.

Your body is so light up here.

You keep jumping and bouncing and flipping.

And then once you get tired of jumping,

Just lay down on this big,

Soft fluffiness.

When you lay down,

You sink down into it a bit so your whole body feels relaxed.

Your legs and your arms are relaxed,

Like you are becoming as soft as the cloud.

Slowly your back,

Your chest,

Your shoulders become so relaxed.

Your whole body feels as soft and as relaxed as this big,

Soft,

Fluffy cloud.

You're light and so free.

Let yourself feel this light,

Fluffy piece.

Let yourself become this light,

Fluffy piece.

As you lay here,

Your mind is filled with a soft,

Gentle light.

A peaceful,

Calm,

Comforting light.

When you breathe,

Your breath is relaxed and you can feel the cloud breathe with you,

Making you feel even more at peace and comforted.

And you notice your animal laying next to you,

Sleeping peacefully.

You feel so calm.

As you continue to relax even deeper now,

You hardly notice as the cloud slowly begins to float down,

Down,

Down.

And as it floats down,

You become even more relaxed until the cloud is touched down to where your body is,

Where you're lying right now.

And you start to connect more to your body right now.

And as you feel your body,

You start to think about how great it is that you have this body.

All of our bodies are different for a reason.

Your body is exactly right for you in this life.

Sometimes our bodies are sick,

It happens to everybody,

And sometimes they're healthy.

But we are given these bodies so that we understand that we have our own unique kind of strength,

The type of strength we need to go through the challenges of our own life.

Not the life of somebody else's,

And that's why we don't have their body,

Because we're not experiencing their life.

We have the body that we need to experience our own unique,

Special,

Amazing,

Magical life.

And that doesn't mean that we are ever supposed to go through life alone.

Just like your animal gave you a sense of safety and protection,

You should always have someone in your life that you can go to,

Someone that you trust,

That you feel safe with,

And that you're difficult.

Someone that can remind you of your special uniqueness,

And that your uniqueness is your power,

Even when you don't feel very powerful.

But right now,

Remind yourself one more time of how grateful you are that you are you.

There is no one who sees the world like you do,

And no one who will live life like you do,

And that's freaking awesome.

Now go to that warm,

Peaceful place in your heart.

Feel that.

That space is always full of peace,

Even when you're hurt or when your mind feels all over the place and confused.

This warm,

Peaceful feeling,

It's always there.

Even when your emotions are all over the place,

If you dig a little bit deeper into your heart,

You'll be able to find this place of peace.

It's always there.

Remember that.

Okay,

Traveler.

It's time to come back,

Back to your beautiful mind,

Body,

And heart,

Back to your special unique life.

Take a deep breath.

Inhale through your nose,

And let it out of your mouth.

Do that one more time.

Inhale through your nose,

Exhale out of your mouth.

Your power is in your imagination and in your heart.
