A Root Chakra affirmation practice begins by finding a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit or stand with your feet firmly planted on the ground. Close your eyes, take slow, deep breaths, and visualize a warm red light at the base of your spine, growing stronger with each inhale. Silently or aloud, repeat affirmations with me. As you speak each affirmation, feel the stability of the earth beneath you, anchoring you in the present moment. End the practice by placing your hands on your lower abdomen, taking a final deep breath, and expressing gratitude for the security and stability in your life.

Morning,

My name is Lacey and I want to talk today about the Root Chakra and also some affirmations to support this very important energy center.

This Root Chakra is the first of seven main chakras and serves as a foundation for our physical and emotional well-being.

When we're in a good place with our Root Chakra,

We feel safe and secure.

We feel grounded and connected to the present moment.

We have a strong sense of belonging and self-trust.

We have a healthy physical energy and endurance.

We feel stable and just grounded.

When the Root Chakra gets a little imbalanced,

We start to have feelings of fear,

Anxiousness,

Insecurity,

Disconnected,

Lack of stability.

When this one is on overdrive and they all kind of ebb and flow,

But it's important to try to keep them in balance.

When the Root Chakra is overactive,

There is an excessive materialism.

There is an aggression and controlling behavior and just sort of restlessness that happens.

Ways that we can balance the Root Chakra would be spending time outside,

Especially barefoot,

And really connecting to the earth.

Of course,

Yoga postures that root us into the ground like a standing balance pose,

Like tree pose or a warrior pose where we're having to really connect our feet to the ground and then dropping to our knees and just humbling ourselves in child's pose.

There's also crystals that work to influence and balance the Root Chakra.

I personally love red jasper,

Hematite,

And black tourmaline.

And then affirmations that we want to bring into our daily practice,

Especially if in these times you're feeling that there isn't safety and that there isn't stability.

We're going to go through these affirmations.

I'll give some space after I speak it to either silently repeat it or just let it sit in your soul.

Just let it sit.

We'll do these affirmations three rounds,

So there's plenty of time to come back.

And if your mind starts to just simply come back to maybe visualizing the color red,

Feeling heavy in your body,

Grounded,

Steady,

And stable.

All right,

Take a breath for me.

And then empty the breath.

I am safe,

Secure,

And grounded.

I trust the universe to support me.

I am deeply rooted like a strong,

Healthy tree.

I have everything I need.

I am strong,

Stable,

And resilient.

I welcome abundance in all areas of my life.

I belong here.

I am at home within myself.

I am present in this moment,

Connected to the earth.

I release fear and embrace trust.

Take a breath to come back to the present.

Repeat those affirmations.

I am safe,

Secure,

And grounded.

I trust the universe to support me.

I am deeply rooted like a strong,

Healthy tree.

I have everything I need.

I am strong,

Stable,

And resilient.

I welcome abundance in all areas of my life.

I belong here.

I am at home with myself.

I am present in this moment,

Connected to the earth.

I release fear and embrace trust.

Take a breath to come back to the present.

Return to the color red.

Return to your body.

Return.

And we will finish with one more round of affirmations.

I am safe,

Secure,

And grounded.

I trust the universe to support me.

I am deeply rooted like a strong,

Healthy tree.

I have everything I need.

I am strong,

Stable,

And resilient.

I welcome abundance in all areas of my life.

I belong here.

I am at home within myself.

I am present in this moment,

Connected to the earth.

I release fear and embrace trust.

Take a breath in.

Feel the body rise with life,

With kalprana.

And as you exhale,

Breathe down into the seat of your body,

Into your feet,

Into your legs.

Take one more.

And as you move about the day and you notice that you feel insecure and unsafe,

Disconnected,

Fearful,

Anxious,

Aggressive,

Stop,

Connect to what's around you.

Take a breath.

And repeat,

I am safe,

I release fear.

I am strong.

Have a beautiful rest of your day.
