Hello everybody.

Let's continue our journey through the chakras and learn a little bit about this important pause.

We're going to talk about the heart chakra today.

I hope that you've had a chance to listen to the bottom three energy centers to just gain some understanding of where we're going with this.

The heart chakra is commonly known as anahata chakra and we simply come to this place where we pause.

This has been considered to be the bridge between the lower three energy centers which are very human in their makeup as regards to how we navigate relationships,

Some of the things that show up when the lower three are imbalanced.

The heart chakra is spaciousness.

It's a pause.

It's a breath.

It's a place where we can just stop and return to love.

The heart chakra color associated is green.

I like to use certain gemstones for this one like green aventurine,

Rose quartz.

The essential oils that I like to help balance the heart chakra are florals.

Anything that is in that sort of feminine side of aroma but something that's soft and sweet and calming.

I also like to use eucalyptus because it helps us physically be able to take a bigger breath.

When the heart chakra is imbalanced,

We have a tendency to be cold,

To be closed off to love,

To have judgment about other people or ourselves.

We have a lens which we look through the world that seems to be some kind of harsh and we're not really in a place to experience unconditional love.

There's a lot of times where we think we're loving but it's based on a condition.

Is this person worthy of our love?

Is this person reacting or responding or reciprocating love?

And the true essence of unconditional love is to simply love with no attachments.

And that's the work of the heart chakra.

When this one is overactive,

We almost have an unhealthy relationship to empathy where we take on other people's experiences and make it our own and twist it and turn it and recycle it into our own struggles.

And it's a fine line right of having compassion and empathy but not allowing that to consume us to the point where then we are unhealthy ourselves.

Some affirmations that I like to come to,

So simple,

I am love,

I am loving,

I am lovable.

I like to speak those words especially if I'm feeling that the overwhelming amount of negativity in the world or in my personal life is consuming me and I'm finding myself feeling dragged into a place of negativity or fear.

I like to repeat the words,

I am love,

I am loving,

And I am lovable.

And then I dip into my heart,

I take a breath,

Because the lungs and the chest is where the heart chakra lives.

It's where it exists,

It's where it functions.

And I breathe in love into my heart space.

And as I breathe out,

I release anything that is getting in the way of love,

Fear,

Judgment,

Disappointment.

I breathe in love.

And on the exhale,

I empty the things that are getting in the way,

Attachment to outcomes,

Attachment to expectations.

And then I return to the simple affirmations.

I am love.

I am loving.

I am lovable.

I am love.

I am loving.

I am lovable.

So take some time to just sit with the heart.

Remember,

The heart is the place where we pause.

It's that balance between the lower three and the upper three energy centers.

It's a place where we should spend a majority of our time investigating,

Discovering,

Exploring our ability to be love,

To show up as love,

To give love unconditionally to all beings.

The world needs people to live in their heart center.

So take some time.

I am love.

I am loving.

I am lovable.

And we'll talk soon as we make our way to the next one.

Have a blessed day.
