So let's get started.
Today's daily drop of gratitude is going to be so simple.
We're going to take a deep breath,
A slow,
Gentle breath out,
And we're going to turn our attention to gratitude for the small moments,
Those tiny little moments throughout our day that quietly shape our days,
The ones that we just often rush past.
Maybe it's the warmth of your morning tea or your coffee,
The sound of rain on the window,
Or maybe even that brief moment of laughter that breaks up the heaviness of the day.
These tiny pieces of life are easy to overlook,
But when we pause long enough to notice them,
They become sacred.
Take another breath.
Feel the inhale as a quiet thank you.
Feel the exhale as a soft I see you.
Inhale,
Thank you.
Exhale,
I see you.
Let yourself be filled even for a moment with the gratitude for the ordinary,
The small moments,
Those tiny little things that whisper,
You are alive.
Let's not overlook small things.
To close with an affirmation,
I find beauty in the simple and small.
