Good morning,
Welcome to this guided morning ritual meditation.
Today is a new day,
A blank page ready for more words of your story to be written.
You may have already risen for the day and if not,
Perhaps you would like to sit at the foot of your bed or in a chair in order to begin grounding and connecting to the surroundings you are in.
If you would prefer to ground yourself while you are still laying down in bed,
This is also welcome.
Your eyes can be open or closed,
Whatever feels right for you,
This is your meditation.
When you are comfortable,
Begin by tuning in to the rhythm of your breath.
As it flows through you,
Allow it to travel to your contact points with the earth.
Imagine it to be like water flowing down a tree,
Giving life and expansion to your very own roots at the base of the earth.
Breathe light into the infinite space of potential within you,
A vastness much greater than the space around you.
Beauty and magic unfold when we allow this spaciousness inside us to merge with our surroundings.
As you continue to bring awareness to your breathing,
Begin to think about the energy you want to bring to your day ahead.
Allow your breath to travel deeper down into your solar plexus.
This chakra,
Referred to as Manupura in Sanskrit translates to lustrous gem.
It is the spinning energy centre that governs our will,
Our power and our assertiveness.
Its mantra is I can.
Associated with fire as well as the sun,
What a beautiful place to breathe into for your morning meditation.
Ask yourself if you have a particular goal that you want to achieve today.
Breathe with these thoughts and allow them to nest here for a moment,
Spinning in a ball of glowing light.
There is no aspiration too great or too small.
Now that you have breathed fire and morning light into your goal,
You may like to set an overall affirmation or intention for your day.
Is it to create sacred connections?
Is it to lavish yourself in self-love and appreciation?
Is it to cherish small moments of bliss?
What does today's intention look like for you?
Take some time to manifest your intention,
Remembering that it is okay to drift.
There is no requirement for you to anchor to my every word,
In fact you may not have even heard them all,
But trust you have heard what you needed to and drifting is a sign of going deeper.
Enjoy the space for your intention setting,
You'll hear my voice again when it is time to transition back.
It's now time to transition from your morning ritual into the next phase of your day.
You may like to bring some movement into your fingers and toes.
Take some light stretches and if your eyes have been closed now is a good time to open them to bring yourself back into your space.
Hold on to the feelings manifested from your intention.
You have filled a radiant cup of immeasurable potential to share amongst others and with yourself.
If this cup becomes depleted over the day,
Know that it is because you have spread your light and your energy into your goals and intentions and that tomorrow you can start again and replenish your cup with your morning ritual meditation.
