You're very welcome to this heart opening meditation.
We're going to take some time to slow right down and to connect inwards to our inner knowing,
To our heart's knowing,
To connect with our heart's wisdom.
Take a moment to get nice and comfortable,
Either in a seated or lying position.
Now let's bring our attention to our heart's center.
Let's breathe in to our heart's center.
Take some nice,
Slow,
Deep breaths right in to the heart.
I invite you to place a hand or two on the heart,
Really taking some time to connect with our heart's center,
To feel into that oxytocin,
The love hormone being released into the body.
Imagine as you breathe in to the heart,
Your heart's energy expands,
And on the exhale,
This energy makes its way around the body.
Just breathe with each and every breath.
Your heart's loving,
Nurturing energy spreads across the body to each and every cell of your being.
Allow this loving energy to encompass your whole being.
Just be with this,
Feel into it,
Your heart's loving energy spreading across your being.
With your hands on your heart,
Give your heart some kind words,
Perhaps some praise or thanks or admiration.
What would your heart like to hear in this moment?
And now I invite you to ask your heart,
If you could speak right now,
What would you say?
And just listen to your heart's whispers,
Trust what arises.
Continue to breathe into the heart,
Connecting to it.
Ask your heart what it needs from you.
Is there anything that you can do to help with the process of healing it or showing it love?
And just listen,
Just receive your heart's wisdom.
Ask your heart what are the next steps that you can follow to help with the healing,
To help give it what it needs.
And now ask your heart what it is that truly lights it up,
What makes it happy and brings it peace.
And finally,
Ask your heart if it has anything else that it would like to share with you,
If it has any more nuggets of wisdom that you should know moving forward.
And just receive.
And now take some time to just show gratitude to your beautiful heart.
Breathe into it a couple more times.
Just be with it,
Thank it for its wisdom,
Its knowing and its love and nurturing.
Just be with your heart.
Give yourself and your heart a big hug in gratitude to yourself for showing up.
Thank yourself right now.
Enjoy that warm embrace.
Thank yourself for wanting to spend more time living in your heart space and less time living in your head.
Make a promise to yourself now to live a more heart-centered life,
