Hi,
This is a simple practice for when you are feeling your emotions bubbling or taking control over you.
Find a comfortable position,
You can sit on the floor or in a chair,
You can keep your eyes open or gently close them.
You can take a deep breath in through your nose and release through your mouth.
If you prefer you can put one hand in your chest and another one in your belly.
Keep paying attention to your breath.
Keep breathing slowly feeling relaxed and comfortable where you are.
Notice how you feel,
Any negative emotion or negative desire.
If there is more than one choose the one that you feel more strong right now.
What is this emotion that you are feeling?
What is the best word?
Describe it.
What triggered?
Don't judge,
Don't analyze.
Just let it be for now and accept this emotion the way it is.
How intense this emotion was for you.
If there is any change in your breath remember to keep breathing slowly.
How do you feel physically?
If you still feel any tension in your body keep breathing and let it dissolve.
Notice and allow any thoughts that comes.
Release all the judgments and struggle towards yourself along with your thoughts.
Keep breathing slowly and deeply and remember that you are not your emotions you are the awareness behind it.
