Take a moment to find a comfortable position,
Either laying down or seated.
If it feels comfortable for you,
Slowly close your eyes.
Otherwise,
Just let your gaze soften.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Know that thoughts will come and go and that's completely fine.
Just begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
Notice if you're breathing shallowly into your chest or deeply into your belly.
Place your hands on your belly.
As you take your next breath in,
Feel your body inflate.
As you take your next breath out,
Allow your body to soften.
Continue to breathe deeply and notice how your body relaxes with each breath.
Start to imagine a golden light forming beneath the palms of your hands.
Feel the warmth of this light against your skin.
With each breath you take,
Allow this golden yellow light to glow bright like the sun.
As you breathe in,
Visualize ribbons of this yellow light flowing into your body through your nostrils.
Allow these rays of golden light to weave through your body,
Burning away any unnecessary thoughts,
Burdens,
Emotions or pain.
As you continue to breathe,
You're igniting your inner fire.
This fire symbolizes your sense of confidence,
Strength and personal power.
Begin to gently repeat after me,
I am confident,
I am strong,
I am courageous.
I have the power to overcome all obstacles.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Notice a sense of inner strength and confidence you have created,
Which is always available to you.
I now invite you to bring your awareness back to the space you're in.
Picture what's around you.
Bring your awareness to any sounds or aromas.
Just let go of thinking about your breath and come back to your natural rhythm of breath.
Take all the time you need to rest here and when you're ready,
