Allowing your eyes to gently close and taking a moment to notice how you're feeling right now,
Any emotions that are coming up for you,
Maybe some thoughts going through your mind,
Observing any of the thoughts and emotions that are there and seeing if you can choose just for the next few minutes to be here.
So checking in with your body,
Just observing the position that it's in right now,
The sensations of sitting or laying,
Noticing any sounds that you can hear in the space that you're in and checking in briefly with your breathing,
Observing that breath that's always there,
Always in the background,
Keeping us alive and present and taking a moment to ask yourself how you would like to show up today.
What feels important to you right now,
Today?
How would you like to be?
What values do you hope to move toward?
What would allow you to move through this day with a sense of meaning and intention?
Allowing the answers to these questions to present themselves to you and just noticing any feelings that arise,
Maybe images of how you would like to be and whenever you're ready,
Coming back into the space by opening up your eyes and beginning the process of moving toward that intention.
