Close your eyes and begin to relax,

Taking a very deep,

Slow breath.

And as you exhale,

Notice any tension begin to melt away from your body.

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of an ancient forest.

The air is cool and fresh.

Deep breath,

Letting this pure forest air fill your lungs completely,

Before slowly releasing it.

As you step forward onto the soft forest path,

Notice how the ground gives slightly beneath your feet.

The path is carpeted with a thick layer of fallen leaves and soft moss muffling any sound.

With each step,

You feel a growing sense of heaviness in your limbs as you are held in the comforting embrace of gravity.

Towering trees stretch up toward the sky,

Their branches creating a protective canopy above.

Filtered sunlight dances through the leaves,

Casting dappled shadows on the forest floor.

This interplay of light and shadow seems to move in a dreamy,

Slow motion dance.

As you continue along the path,

The rhythmic crunch of leaves beneath your feet becomes a meditative sound.

It blends with the distant,

Gentle rustling of leaves and the soft,

Intermittent calls of forest birds.

The sounds weave together in a chorus,

Lulling you deeper into a state of calm.

You come across a small clearing bathed in soft,

Golden light.

In the center stands an ancient tree,

Its trunk wider than your outstretched arms could encircle.

Its gnarled roots create natural hollows and nooks at its base,

Approaching the tree,

You find a perfect spot nestled between two large roots.

The ground here is covered in a thick carpet of the softest moss you've ever felt.

As you sit down,

It's as if the earth molds itself to support your body perfectly.

Leaning back against the tree trunk,

The heaviness in your limbs increases,

Each blink of your eyes becomes slower,

Heavier.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

With each exhale,

You sink a little deeper into the moss,

A little further into relaxation.

Your body feels wonderfully heavy.

The dappled sunlight dancing on your eyelids creates patterns that swirl and merge like a kaleidoscope moving in slow motion.

These patterns are mesmerizing,

Drawing you deeper into a trance-like state.

Time seems to slow down,

Then stop altogether.

You exist in a timeless moment,

Suspended between wakefulness and sleep.

Here,

In this liminal space,

You are perfectly at peace.

The boundary between your body and the forest continues to blur.
