This guided meditation will help you ground yourself, connect to mama earth, and feel more present and safe in your body. Sit in a quiet place, close your eyes and allow yourself to relax during these 20 minutes. Use headphones for an optimal experience. Namaste.

Hello beautiful beings,

Welcome to this short guided meditation for grounding and feeling safe in your body.

Make sure you're sitting in a quiet place and that you won't be disturbed during this meditation.

Sit comfortably in an upright position,

Make sure your spine is erect.

If you are sitting on a chair,

Make sure your feet are flat on the floor and unclosed.

If you prefer,

You can lie down in your bed.

Now close your eyes.

Let's start with taking three deep cleansing breaths.

In through the nose and sigh out through the mouth.

Now come back to normal breathing,

In through the nose,

Out through the nose.

Pay attention to your breath,

Feel your belly expanding when you inhale and contracting when you exhale.

Try to make your exhale a bit longer than your inhale.

That will help your body relaxing by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

See if you can relax your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your face,

Your eyes,

Your jaws,

Your arms,

Your fingers,

Your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet,

Your toes.

Keep breathing.

If you have any persisting thoughts,

Just let them be.

Don't try to resist them or to get rid of them.

Just let them be.

Observe them.

If you can see that you are not those thoughts,

That you are the watcher of those thoughts,

They will come and go and come and go like clouds in the sky.

Just come back to your breath,

Pay attention to your inhale and exhale.

Remember that the breath is your gateway into the present moment,

Your gateway into presence,

Into peace.

Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine,

Your first energy center,

Also called the root chakra.

Breathe into this space.

Fill it with air.

Now imagine a cold extending from your seat bones,

From your chakra and traveling down into the earth,

Traveling down through the layers of the earth,

Going deeper and deeper,

Deeper and deeper until it reaches the center of the earth.

Now you feel anchored in earth,

You feel supported,

You feel held.

Feel the connection with mama earth,

Feel Gaia's energy,

Feel her maternal love,

Her maternal hug,

Feel her soothing energy,

Her loving energy wrapping around you.

Just bathing this energy for a moment.

Feel it in every cell of your body.

Now visualize the cord filling with pure white light coming from the source,

The center of the earth.

When you inhale,

Draw up the energy from the earth into your body through this cord.

Feel the nourishing and loving energy entering your body through your root chakra.

And when you exhale,

Release everything that doesn't belong to you,

Everything that's weighing you down.

Just let go of it.

The earth knows what to do with it,

Just give it to her.

She's always willing to do that for you,

She's always willing to take everything that doesn't belong to you from you.

She knows what to do with it.

Trust her.

You can repeat silently,

I release fear from my physical body through this cord into the earth.

I release anxiety from my physical body through this cord into the earth.

I release unworthiness,

I release anger,

I release resentment,

I release self-hate,

I release judgement.

Scan your emotional body for a moment and see if you have something else that you need to let go of and just say,

I release.

.

.

From my physical body through this cord into the earth.

Keep drawing up light when you inhale and releasing darkness,

Heavy energy from your body when you exhale.

Now bring all of your attention to the energy accumulated in the base of your spine.

Feel the difference in this space before you draw up the energy and now feel the expansion.

Now visualize this energy,

This light going up to fill your chest area.

Feel the light moving up gently and slowly from your root chakra to your heart chakra.

Now feel your chest expanding,

Your heart opening,

Expanding,

Filling with light.

Bring your awareness to your chest area,

Rest your focus there.

Breathe deeply into this space.

Feel your heart going bigger and bigger,

Lighter and lighter,

Brighter and brighter.

Feel the expansion in your energy.

Send your love back to Mama Earth,

To humanity,

To animals,

To plants and to every creature on this planet.

Your heart can heal the world.

Your heart will heal the world.

You are powerful.

You are very powerful.

You are always supported,

Always help.

You are safe.

You are free.

You are sovereign.

You are safe to be in this physical body,

Dear one.

You are light.

You are pure consciousness connected to everything through all time and space.

Yes,

You are that powerful.

Now let go of all your efforts.

Come back to focus on the breath.

Feel your inhale and your exhale.

Slowly become aware of your body and surroundings.

With a big smile in your face,

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Look in your fingers and toes.

Feel your body move.

And when you feel ready,

Gently and slowly,

With the pace of love,

Open your eyes.

You can always come back to this meditation when you need to reconnect with Mama Earth and yourself.
