This is a short, poetic healing practice set in an abstract, post-apocalyptic world. It's designed for those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma. It lets you sit with the pain in and around us and allows ourselves to be accepted just as we are.

Transcript

It's a post-apocalyptic world.

I'm sitting on a high up ledge overlooking the city,

Seated in my meditation position.

Trauma swirls all around me and trauma swirls inside of me.

So I choose to sit.

I sit with what I can't control and I sit with what I can control.

Equanimity allows me to be exactly where I am despite the trauma rising up around and inside of my soul.

I am not my thoughts.

I'm not my past actions.

I'm deeper than that.

I can allow myself to heal.

I can allow myself to be.

I am strong.

I am courageous.

I can be with this.

I am body strength.

And I am enough,

Just as I am.
