I am a certified yoga and meditation instructor and today I'm going to be guiding you through a meditation to welcome spring.
Spring is a time of renewal,
Of restoration,
Of new energy.
It is a time when nature awakens from the hibernation of winter,
When the sun comes out,
When plants are budding and blooming.
Spring is a time of renewal,
Of new energy.
In today's meditation,
I would like to invite you to close the eyes,
Come to a comfortable seated position or lying down.
Take a deep breath in,
Inhaling that fresh spring energy,
Exhaling and letting go of any tension you're carrying in your body today.
Inhale,
Taking in the new energy.
Exhale,
Releasing the old energy.
Inhale,
Taking in the new.
Exhale,
Letting go of the old.
Continue to follow the natural rhythm of your breath.
As you breathe in and out,
I want you to visualize a spring pond.
I want you to visualize the caterpillars becoming butterflies,
Birds chirping,
Returning back from their winter migrations.
I want you to visualize flowers budding and blooming.
I want you to visualize the sun emerging from behind the clouds.
Warmth welcoming itself into the pond,
Into the ecosystem.
Continue to breathe deeply as you lean in to the visualization of spring.
Allow your breath to welcome the energy of spring into your body.
Allow the freshness of the spring energy to bring vitality to your spirit.
Spring is a time to give yourself permission to let go of what no longer serves you,
To bring fresh energy into your body and mind and your space.
