Settle into a comfortable position.

You can lie down or sit up tall in a chair.

This meditation will calm your nervous system and bring you into a space of relaxation.

Breathe.

Begin to feel the coolness of the air that enters in through your nose and the sensation of release upon its exit.

Breathe.

Feel the breath enter into the lungs,

Massaging them from the inside.

Feel your face start to relax,

Relaxing the forehead,

Relaxing the jaw,

And slightly parting the lips.

Feel your breath restore you as you inhale and liberate you as you exhale,

Bringing in nourishment and hope,

Releasing all strain and all suffering.

Breathe,

Dear one.

Only you can breathe this breath.

Only you.

There is no one like you.

Breathe and rest.

Rest in space.
