
The Chakra Spiral

This meditation opens the chakras, as well as expands our energetic field, as we breathe through the chakras in a spiral pattern.
Transcript
Welcome to the chakra spiral meditation.
To begin,
Find a comfortable position,
Preferably sitting upright or lying down on your back.
Notice the support of the earth below,
Holding you.
This meditation opens the chakras as well as expands our energetic field as we create a spiral pattern through the chakras.
Begin to notice your breath as it moves in and out of your lungs and allow your mind to settle down naturally.
Now bring your attention to the heart chakra in the middle of your chest.
Begin to breathe here,
Inhaling right through the skin and exhaling into the chakra,
Drawing in energy and allowing it to settle into this space.
With each breath,
Allow this chakra to open,
Relax,
And expand.
Now begin to spin the chakra with your mind,
Similar to a wheel spinning,
By moving your focus and breath down the left side and up the right side of the chakra.
In other words,
You are going down the left side of your chest and up the right in a circular pattern.
Continue spinning the chakra at a balanced and comfortable pace.
At first,
This may take some effort,
But as the chakra opens,
It will spin naturally.
Now just breathe again and notice the heart chakra in this open state.
From here,
Inhale deeply and as you exhale,
Send the breath in a curved half circle down the left side of your body into the solar plexus at the middle abdomen.
Now at the solar plexus,
Breathe in through your skin and exhale into the chakra,
Expanding this area.
Begin to spin this chakra down the left side and up the right in a circular pattern to assist in the cleansing and balancing of this energy center.
Notice how it responds to the movement.
Now just breathe here and feel its openness.
From here,
Inhale and now exhale in a half circle up the right side of your body into the throat chakra.
Notice that we have begun to create a spiral by moving the energy in this way.
At the throat,
Breathe in and expand this area on the exhale.
Now begin to spin down the left and up the right sides,
Reminding the chakra of its natural flow.
Notice its state at this time as you now just breathe here.
Inhale deeply and now send the exhale in a half circle down the left to the second chakra at the lower abdomen.
Breathe here,
Expanding this area and drawing in fresh energy.
Spin the chakra down the left and up the right,
Noticing if this is easy for you or not.
This offers a reading on the chakra's state of health and flow.
Notice it getting easier as you guide the movement.
Now breathe here as you witness the flow continuing.
Take a deep breath in and send the energy on the exhale in a half circle up the right into the third eye chakra at the forehead.
Draw in fresh energy as you breathe into this chakra.
Begin to spin and guide the energy flow here.
Now breathe and tune into the third eye,
Noticing its state of health.
From here,
Inhale deeply and send the exhale in a half circle down the left side of your body into the root chakra at the base of your torso.
Breathe in right through your skin into this area.
Now begin to spin this chakra by moving the energy on the left side from front to back and from back to front on the right.
You can also use your hand to find the correct movement if you need to.
Again,
Move the energy on the left side from front to back and from back to front on the right.
You will notice this is the same pattern that we've been doing,
Only it's facing down,
So it's a little different.
Notice the chakra opening and flowing as a wheel of light as you do this.
Now just breathe and feel the energy here.
Inhale deeply once again and exhale up the right side of your body in a half circle into the crown chakra at the top of your head.
Breathe in from the crown and allow the energy to expand into this chakra.
Begin to guide the spin of the crown by moving the energy on the left side of your head from back to front and front to back on the right.
Again,
Use your hand if needed.
Now breathe here and allow the chakra to continue spinning on its own.
Now tune into the spiral that you have created by moving through the chakras in this manner.
Feel your expansiveness and the energy of your personal field.
Rest in this potent space.
We will now spin back through the chakras to reach the heart so that your field is not too expanded for normal daily activity.
Just for clarity,
We are not closing the chakras,
Only drawing in our field a bit.
Begin the crown,
Inhale and exhale down the right side of your body in a half circle into the root chakra.
From here,
Inhale and exhale in a half circle up the left side of your body into the third eye.
From here,
Inhale and exhale down the right side of your body in a half circle into the second chakra.
From here,
Inhale and exhale up the left side into the throat.
Now from here,
Inhale and exhale in a half circle down the right into the solar plexus.
And finally from here,
Inhale and exhale in a half circle up the left into the heart chakra.
Just rest here for a moment.
Notice the effects of closing the spiral on your field.
The chakras will continue to spin naturally in this state.
Become aware of how you feel at this time.
Tune into the balanced nature of your energy body.
Now begin to notice your cells and your physical body resting on the earth.
Feel the weight of it.
Begin to gently stretch your hands and arms,
Your feet and legs.
Stretch your back and spine.
Stretch your face and your torso.
Stretch your whole body.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes slowly and welcome the outside world.
