Hello beautiful people and welcome to the supernova podcast on today's episode i wanted to dive deeper into the three different stages of healing so i've been a healer for seven years and a healee for over a decade and i have explored many different modalities some of which now comprise my medicine and i have been exposed to many healers and i discovered that there are three different distinct stages of healing that all of us go through and in this episode i would like to dive deeper into each stage so that you can recognize what stage of healing you may be in you can recognize what tools are helpful for that stage and you can also recognize when is that pivot point that is directing you to essentially move into the next stage of healing and my intention with this episode is simply to educate inspire and empower all of you to have this awareness and to simply allow yourself to be where you're at while also having the mental understanding of where you're at so stage number one is what i call the love and light stage this is a stage that is very important and very powerful this is the stage when we begin to empower ourselves on our healing journey this is essentially the stage where we step in on to our healing journey and why it's called love and light is because this is when we connect to the principles of love the universal principle of the divine and the heart and whatever is positive in our world so in this stage we may begin to believe that a different life is possible for we begin to explore actually following our dreams we begin to question whether our current life situation and our current choices actually make sense for us so for example for me this stage was when i began to recognize that the corporate world is not really for me even though there was a lot of safety and security in it i just had this nagging feeling like this is not what i'm supposed to be doing with my life and i began to empower myself and to actually listen to what my heart was saying and began to dive deeper into psychology into alternative healing modalities and actually following those callings of my heart this is also a stage where we explore modalities that essentially get us into the positive high vibrational state so working with our mindset and affirmations maybe we are beginning journaling maybe we're creating mood boards and actually putting different images of what we want our life to be and like in front of us so we can see it and this is i actually have a really cool example of that my very first mood board that i did i ended up putting an image of the beach and the hammock and i had no idea that within two or three years i'm going to be moving to costa rica i had no idea how it's going to manifest but that was just the feeling that i was calling in this feeling of the calmness of the beach and the comfortable relaxation of the hammock so mood boards is one practice that we can explore in this stage furthermore practices like yoga meditation energy healing prayer so essentially right hand path modalities modalities that take us from point a to point b so modalities that take us from negative thinking into positive thinking or pain in our body and misalignment into correct alignment through yoga as an example and eventually what happens when we're long enough in this stage is most often we begin to manifest the dream life we begin to you know maybe attract a job that is more suited to what we actually want to do we begin to attract the right people in our life we really elevate our life on this stage because we're taking all the necessary steps to make our life better and in this stage any step you take is absolutely essential well in any stage any step you take is absolutely essential but then in this specific love and stage there is improvement in your life considerably until you're ready for stage number two and stage number two is what i call the shadow work stage so what happens in this stage is you begin to realize that despite all your efforts to have positive affirmations and really keeping your vibration high there are still things within you that you're absolutely terrified to feel or to face it could be different fears it could be different traumas that you're not ready to face it could be different quote-unquote negative emotions that you just are not willing to look at and in this stage you actually become curious about all those things that you secretly run away from and you step into that stage well actually life calls you into that stage and this is a super powerful stage in this stage you begin to essentially run directly into the storm into your own suffering and you begin to welcome it deeper inside yourself so if in stage one we practiced getting away from our negative thoughts into positive thoughts in stage two you're actually learning to sit with all the uncomfortable experiences of your life and in this stage there are many modalities and practitioners that you can find you can google shadow work and there are going to be probably thousands of people that offer their own flavor of shadow work but what has worked for me specifically what has proved to be the most effective is both emotional integration work and contemplation the emotional integration piece is when you begin to simply allow all of the uncomfortable sensations inside your body to be experienced to be observed and there's a specific modality that i was introduced to by an amazing beautiful woman ignatiana neumann and i call her my spiritual mother she is an absolutely amazing healer psychic and psychologist who takes you into this process of simply recognizing and then allowing all of your sensations and all of your emotions and feelings to simply take over you and in the beginning it's the most terrifying process because for most of our life we run away from certain expressions of the divine certain experiences certain emotional states so it can be extremely uncomfortable and extremely terrifying but again you are ready for this stage so you begin to learn how to be with your shadow how to be with discomfort and how to welcome a deeper inside yourself and what you end up realizing is that nothing is beyond you the you that is the spirit the you that is the presence and the awareness you begin to have a real embodied experience of what happens when you don't run away from grief or sadness or anger and it's once again super empowering and super inspiring and it adds yet another level to your healing and then eventually when you've done enough shadow work rounds you're ready for stage three and stage three i call a unity consciousness stage so this is a stage that takes some time to reach in the sense that you can't you can't rush through the first or the second stage it's impossible your mind may want to rush but you can only move at the speed of safety and your body has its own rhythm your consciousness your experience in life has its own timing so when you're ready for stage three the perfect teachers show up once again to essentially show you the new tools that are available for that stage and in this stage you essentially go beyond the light and the shadow and you meet yourself as a whole human being this is a stage where you cultivate the awareness of yourself as a witness and as a particular human being and you meet yourself at the level that is beyond before and beneath your life circumstances or emotional state in this stage you practice having no resistance to neither light nor the shadow and you begin to simply flow with life you begin to accept that certain traumas may stay with you for the rest of your life you begin to accept the particularity of your human vehicle and not need it to be different so for example i have this particular way that i connect with food i absolutely hate sharing food from a plate and my husband's been kind of working with me and this particular preference of mine for the past five years he's been kind of like pushing my edge around it and testing me and i've gotten better but i still will not eat food from the same plate with him or anyone else i can do it but i don't want to do it and in the stage three you realize that yes i could have multiple sessions with healers and work on my past life so work on my generational trauma when my one of my great grandparents died from hunger and try to work on it or i can just simply accept and say hey i don't like to share food from the same plate let's just not share food from the same plate i don't need to figure this out i can just honor that this is how i am and just not create any more tension around it just accept and this is uh you know this is a particular thing for me let's not make a big deal out of it let's just eat from two different plates it's okay there's nothing nothing else that needs to be done and when you're in stage three this is how you begin to see yourself as a whole human being that still has certain preferences and certain traumas that may live in my system that may live in my genetics and that's okay so i may still experience shadow states i may still create mood board but i also know myself as something that is beyond my human and beyond the concept of shadow and light i am both and i am neither i am the awareness the consciousness that is able to experience myself as a human so i can still engage in both stage one and stage two but i have done enough of those practices and tools that i can just simply choose what works for me in any moment so i hope this makes sense and the idea is that even though there are all these different stages if you've been through if you've played if you experience yourself in each of those stages then you have all those tools available to you at any time and you can just pick and choose but if you haven't say empowered yourself on stage one yet then you cannot necessarily skip to stage three and fully enjoy it and be fully there you have to almost go through the process of first empowering yourself and seeing your own light meeting your own light that will take you shadow meeting the dark side of the moon within yourself and then once you've met your own light in your own shadow is when you meet your fullness whole self in stage three so again depending what stage you're in you may require different tools so for stage three there is a specific modality that i've been introduced to called the beauty way where we cultivate this awareness of who am i before my nervous system before my emotions before my circumstances what is a part of me that never changes there is a modality called the beauty way and i'm sure there are many other modalities that can also take you there non-dual modalities and i guess the invitation with this podcast is simply for you to become aware what stage of healing are you in and to observe are you ready maybe for the next stage and my hope is that all of us get to stage three where we begin to feel this connection to unity consciousness where our awareness penetrates life deeper penetrates truth penetrates beauty and we're able to show up as our most empowered inspired authentic and whole self where we don't judge our experience or the experience of others and we are able to hold space for all the people that are maybe still a few steps behind on their
