Hello there,
This is another 10-minute quick meditation,
A grounding sensation practice to get you grounded for the rest of your day or going into the next day.
Find a comfortable seated position with your feet planted firmly on the ground and your palms resting gently on your thighs.
Take a moment to connect with your breath,
Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly,
Allowing your body to relax.
Shift your attention to the sensations in your feet.
Feel the connection between your feet and the ground beneath you.
Visualize roots growing from the soles of your feet,
Reaching deep into the earth with each breath.
Imagine these roots grounding you,
Anchoring you to the stability and support of the earth's energy.
As you continue to breathe,
Bring your awareness to the sensation of the earth's energy rising through the roots,
Entering your body,
Feeling a sense of stability,
Strength and security flowing through you.
Now expand your awareness to your entire body.
With each breath,
Imagine a golden light surrounding you like a protective cocoon.
Feel the gentle warmth of this light wrapping around your body,
Creating a sense of security.
And peace.
Take a moment to affirm to yourself,
I am grounded,
Stable and supported by the earth.
I am grounded,
Stable and supported by the earth.
I accept myself and the world around me with grace and serenity.
Remain in the grounded state for the remainder of the meditation,
Allowing yourself to fully experience the sensations of being rooted and connected to the earth.
If your mind starts to wander,
Gently bring your focus back to your breath and the grounding sensation in your body.
You may feel the energy coming up from the earth,
Have the intention of staying in this energy for a couple of minutes.
I am grounded,
Stable and supported by the earth.
I accept myself and the world around me with grace and serenity.
When you're ready to conclude the meditation,
Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Take a few deep breaths,
Wiggle your toes and you can express gratitude for the grounding experience you cultivated,
Which at any time,
The sensation,
The feeling,
The security and groundedness you experienced in this meditation can be brought back into awareness just by focusing upon the sensation you felt or sensations.
This concludes the meditation.
You may open your eyes when ready and if you would like to continue to the next 10 minute meditation,
