I'm Sam.
Thank you for joining me.
Today I'm going to lead you through a golden sun meditation to bring healing and energize your body.
Go ahead and sit in a comfortable position and lengthen your spine,
Allowing your hips and your legs to soften.
Place your hands on your thighs and allow your arms to become heavy.
Now I invite you to gently close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
Notice how your breath feels as you inhale,
As it travels into your chest and down into your stomach.
Slowly breathe out through your mouth,
Letting go without judgment,
Releasing any tension that you're carrying.
Let's continue with two more breaths like this.
Inhale,
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
Exhale through your mouth.
Inhale one last time.
And now exhale.
Now let's find the natural rhythm of your breath.
Imagine a warm golden sun above your crown.
Imagine the sun filling with pure love and grace and energy from Mother Earth.
Take a moment and just notice how this warmth feels on your crown and on your skin.
Imagine the sun traveling down through your crown,
Behind the space between your eyes,
Behind your jaw,
Down through your neck.
And as it hits your shoulders,
Just go ahead and relax your shoulders down into your body.
And imagine the sun landing in your heart space.
With each inhale,
Imagine the sun's energy growing,
Filling with love,
Grace,
And peace.
With each inhale,
The sun grows larger and bigger within your heart space.
And as you exhale,
Imagine this love and grace and energy flowing from the sun into your body.
Feel the warmth,
The energy that it's radiating.
Imagine it growing once again as you inhale.
And as you exhale,
Imagine the warmth and love and grace flowing from your heart space into your arms,
Down into your fingertips.
Notice its energy and its warmth filling you with love and grace.
On your next inhalation,
Imagine it filling once again.
And this time as you exhale,
Imagine it spreading its energy down through your stomach,
Through your hips,
Into your root chakra,
Filling you with its warmth,
Its love,
Its grace,
Peace.
Envision it once again filling with all of Mother Earth's energy,
All that she has to offer,
All of her love,
All of her joy,
All of her tenderness.
And as you exhale,
Envision all of this flowing from your heart space down further into your legs,
Into the soles of your feet,
Into your toes.
Notice it growing larger with your next inhalation,
The sun spreading its warmth.
Let its light and love and grace envelop every part of your core and your being.
With each inhalation it grows larger and fills your soul with its lifeblood.
Feel the energy nourishing your soul.
Notice the way this feels.
Notice its lifeblood flowing from your heart center into every part of your body.
With each breath the sun's love spreads deeper,
Filling you with pure love and grace.
And as you continue to breathe at your own pace,
Find an intention for your day,
Something you can carry with you.
And as you take in the sun's energy with each breath,
Repeat this intention to yourself.
Now bring your attention back to the present,
Back to this space.
Notice the way your body feels as it is touching the floor or your chair.
Notice the sounds around you.
Place your hand over your heart.
We're going to take three heart breaths together.
Go ahead and inhale through the back of your heart and exhale through the front.
Inhale through the back of your heart.
Exhale through the front.
Inhale through the back of your heart.
Exhale through the front.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
