This is for the second week of August,
Starting August 10th,

Well August is already telling us quite a story because this month's card is the King of Swords,
Which is the Truth Teller.
However,
Last week we had the High Priestess,
Which was to listen to ourselves,
To our intuition.
And this week we're following suit with the Two of Swords.
This month clearly,
Clearly wants to be about clarity,
But without you rushing toward it,
Without you making a rash decision.
It seems as if August is telling us to slow down,
Listen,
And then choose,
Because this card is right in line with all of that.
2 of Swords is often misunderstood.
It's not about making a decision,
But becoming clear enough to make the right decision for you.
This card is about the pause between knowing and acting.
It's building up from last week.
Last week,
The High Priestess was teaching us to listen before we act,
To trust our intuition,
To go inside first.
And now the Two of Swords,
We're standing kind of at this crossroads and not because we're lost,
But because we are truly choosing between two paths.
It's honestly a really beautiful setup.
The King of Swords wants the truth.
It wants the clarity.
And the High Priestess from last week is telling us that we need to listen to our intuition.
As well as our minds.
And now the two of swords is saying,
Well,
Will you trust what you've already been shown?
It's often we find ourselves that we are choosing between our fear and our trust,
Whether we're avoiding the truth or accepting the truth.
Sometimes it feels like we're choosing between comfort and growth.
Again,
Neither is bad.
It's just what do you want right now?
That's what it all comes down to.
What do you want?
Things are going to move regardless.
Which path are you going to choose?
This card can often come up when we're feeling stuck in our lives,
When we're feeling like we have to make a choice,
But we can't find which way to go.
We tend to hesitate.
We wait.
We start to overthink.
Sometimes this card reminds us that even indecision or not making a decision is actually a decision.
The pause can be helpful,
But there's a point where it becomes avoidance.
So if July taught us to trust our soul,
August is asking us,
Now where are we going to choose coming from that place?
And if you're feeling like,
I know what I need to do,
I just haven't fully committed it yet,
Or I haven't admitted it,
That is typical of this card.
The answer isn't missing.
It's just waiting to be said.
It's waiting to be acknowledged.
The two of swords this week is highlighting that decision point.
Rather than rushing to have an answer but also making sure you're not overextending that pause.
We're coming from clarity that we already know is within us.
In fact,
We probably already know the answer.
We're just hesitant.
We're just not wanting to say it.
So stop looking outside of ourselves is what this card is asking.
Instead,
Trust the wisdom that you already know and everything you've come through and go from that.
If you do feel like you are in a place where you truly don't know,
The question I often ask myself is,
What truth am I ready to stop avoiding?
The choice becomes clear when we stop asking everyone else what we already know.
August,
It's truly about clarity and it's coming in every single way,
From our minds,
To our hearts,
To our inner wisdom.
