Welcome to your monthly terrascope.
This is for August 2026.
Well,
It feels like August has another major shift after our July,
Which July felt really big,
But it's moving us forward.
If we look back at just a couple months ago in June,
We had that eight of wands,
Which was this fast momentum.
Last month,
July,
We had temperance,
Which was our rebirth and the start of something new.
This month we have the King of Swords and now the King of Swords is asking what are we going to do with all that we have just gone through?
I like to call The King of Sores the Truth Teller because that's what it's about.
It's literally able to stand nice and tall and willing to see the truth of everything no matter what it looks like.
Good,
Bad,
Positive,
Negative,
Neutral.
It can see the truth.
Sometimes it is hard and sometimes it's really easy.
But the King of Swords is very calm.
Clear,
Intentional.
The energy of this card is not about reacting towards something,
But more about how you respond to something.
And when you respond,
The idea behind this card is responding with the knowledge of what is true.
So in July,
We were really working with the trust and surrendering and leading a soul-filled life,
That rebirth.
And so now August is saying,
Okay,
Let's get clear.
This is where your intuition becomes decision,
When your insight becomes action.
I always love this card because this card really cuts through any confusion.
It's not harsh,
It just does it cleanly.
Think about a sword.
A sword will cut through something in one swipe.
And that's all this is doing.
In one swipe,
You can see the truth of the matter.
However,
I always say,
Even though the King of Swords is this very clear,
Intentional energy that can see the truth,
Sometimes the energy of this card gets you so much that you start to overanalyze.
You start to intellectualize emotions or become critical.
I've seen this card become almost perfectionist,
And that's not what we're using it for.
We're just using it to tie in our knowledge,
Our intuition,
And our heart.
And see the truth,
And then move from there.
So this month is basically asking us what is the truth showing us,
Not what am I worried about what's going to happen.
So you're thinking about facts over your fear.
You're thinking about clear versus emotional.
You can think about this card in a way of looking to see what is true for you.
What's unnecessary and what deserves your energy and is there a decision to be made?
And can you make that decision?
With your mind and heart versus just one or the other.
Often this card allows us to see situations as they really are and within that a little bit of drama can come through because it will raise emotions when we see the truth of something.
And again,
This card is about how you respond.
So can you respond with that strength from last month,
That knowledge,
That willingness to be vulnerable from months before?
And instead step forward with that knowledge,
With the wisdom,
With everything you've learned.
See the truth and make the decision that's best for you and for your past.
So a very quick reading on this card because there's not much more to say.
It is very simple.
Be willing to show up and be willing to see the truth and then decide how you respond to it.
So step by step,
Moment by moment,
You don't need to rush through anything.
Just take your time and really let yourself see.
