Well,
It's here.
2024 is finally here.
I feel like most of us,
The collective,
Have been gearing up for 2024.
There's so much that is,
Ah,
It's bubbling.
There's so much potential.
There's so much excitement about it.
In fact,
I'm doing a mini little podcast about the year of 2024 and what our card of the year is and what can we come to expect from it and how can we use that card.
So keep on the lookout for a secret little podcast that's gonna come out in just a little bit regarding the year 2024.
So separate from our monthly Terrascope.
But let's get back to today.
Today it is January 2024 and like our first card that came out,
Knight of Swords,
We are gonna gear up and move fast.
So a quick rundown.
Four cards came out and four is pretty rare for a monthly Tarot for me to read but that's what showed up today.
We have the Knight of Swords,
The Seven of Cups,
The Devil and the Star and they actually play together really,
Really well.
There's a lot happening in this month.
Now when I say that,
I want you to know that it can be energetically,
It can be your soul path,
It can be work,
It can be relationships.
Really take a moment and have this reading be for you and what's happening in your life currently.
So starting off with the Knight of Swords,
This is such a lovely card.
It's really fast-moving.
There's always an end goal.
So whether there's a choice to be made at the end,
If there's something you're trying to do,
Something you're accomplishing,
A project,
Anything like that,
You're moving really quick to get it done.
The Knight of Swords also is very effortless.
I always love thinking about running up a hill but what if you had like a little power jet pack on your back and it's helping you.
That's really what this energy is.
So you can use this card,
Use this energy to propel you forth.
However,
It's moving you so fast that it's really quite easy to forget about self-care.
So I love to say this,
Buy some snacks,
Make sure to take naps,
Do anything you need to do so that you also get recovery time as you're moving fast.
You're gonna need that recovery for all this energy you're expending.
And within this,
We have all these choices coming about.
The Seven of Cups is very much that.
It's all these choices and sometimes,
Depending on what's happening in life,
We are meant to look at the choices but not really decide.
This for me,
However,
Feels very different.
The choices are there.
In fact,
Not all of them have popped up.
So allow room to be there for more options to occur and really feel into yourself about each one of them.
And this is where the devil comes out.
So the devil is all about addictions of every kind and holding yourself in patterns that no longer serve you.
And really,
You're the only person who can break those chains.
But the devil card is actually beautiful.
I love it because it is a chance at liberation.
It is a chance to,
You yourself,
Show you how strong you are,
How committed you are to you,
Your life path,
And who you really are by releasing these patterns.
Whatever it is that's hooking you,
That's still hooking you.
Usually the devil is coming up because there are patterns that have been with you for a long time.
Again,
Whether this is an actual in-time addiction or if this is a psychological pattern,
Whatever it happens to be,
It's been there for a long time.
But this is your opportunity to release yourself.
You are the only one holding yourself there.
No one else is.
And when you do that,
The star is gonna come and envelop you.
The star has so much potential.
Not only is it a healing card,
But the end point of the star is that there is such potential for your future that you want to grab onto that energy,
That burst of energy,
And go with it.
So there's a lot happening this month,
A lot of potential.
And you can take this or you can throw it away,
Whatever is fitting for you.
But the main thing I keep hearing to say is keep centering yourself.
Make sure you're taking care of yourself and watch the things that are playing out.
Are you playing into old patterns?
Are you deciding too fast?
Or are you maybe not deciding because it's too scary to decide?
Whatever it happens to be,
Know that your beginning card is that knight of swords.
There's energy you can grab onto and work with.
And the end card is the star.
Potential for your future.
Potential to recalibrate everything that has been happening that has not been working.
This is a chance to recalibrate and direct yourself onto the path you actually really want to be on.
There's so much,
So much in January.
I cannot wait to share the year 2024 card and what that also means for us.
