Taking a moment to find a position that feels comfortable for your body,
Whether that is laying down or sitting straight up.
Choosing a position that feels nourishing where your body can fully relax and release into the present moment.
Once you've made yourself comfortable,
Directing your awareness to your breath and just beginning to invite the breath deeper into the body,
Down into the root on the inhalation,
The belly,
The chest,
Softening and releasing on the exhalation,
Allowing the whole body to relax.
The inhalation expands,
The exhalation carries out any tightness,
Any tension,
Allowing your body to release into the present moment.
Allowing any thoughts that arise to come and go.
Coming back to the breath,
Back to the sensations in your body.
Begin to breathe deeply into the root,
The base of your body.
Feeling it expand on the inhalation.
Feeling it soften and release into the support beneath you on the exhalation.
Beginning to imagine roots growing from your root down into the earth.
With each breath,
They go deeper and deeper,
Reaching all the way down to the core of the earth and wrapping around.
Imagine any stagnation here at your root,
Flowing out through these roots,
Gifting this stuckness,
This stagnation to the earth,
Allowing her to transmute it.
Each exhalation releasing more and more.
And on the inhalation,
Imagine the wisdom,
The life force energy that you're drawing up from the earth into your roots.
All the way up into the base of your body.
Creating a solid foundation for your channel,
For your being.
Bringing the breath up into the sacral,
Into your pelvic bowl.
Allowing the breath here,
Feeling it expand and soften.
Connecting here to your emotions and allowing the breath to move out stagnation on each exhalation.
Effortlessly and with ease,
Imagine your sacral getting clearer,
Lighter,
More open.
Drawing the breath up now to your solar plexus,
Just behind the belly button.
Feeling the navel expand out as you inhale.
Feeling it draw in as you exhale.
And imagine this pumping of the navel with the breath,
Like a gentle wind blowing on the flame of yourself,
Of your passion.
Feeling the breath growing this flame bigger and brighter as it burns away anything clouding your sense of self,
Anything dampening your passion.
Feel the warmth of this fire.
The warmth of your self expression glow from your center.
Drawing the breath now up into the heart.
Breathing deeply into the front and back of your heart space between your shoulder blades.
Maybe even placing a hand here and feeling the beating of your heart in your hands.
And as you breathe,
Feel the inhalation opening your expression of love.
Feel the exhalation sending love out to the universe,
To each person who is important to you,
To each person you have never met.
Feel your exhalation sending love to each of them.
And your inhalation drawing the love of the divine into your heart space.
And as you both receive and give,
Feel your heart space becoming clearer,
Becoming lighter,
Becoming more open.
Sitting in the knowing that love is infinite and you can never give too much and you can never receive too much.
Let the breath show you how to effortlessly give and receive love from your heart.
Drawing your breath now into your throat.
Feel the breath gliding down across your throat as you inhale.
Feel it releasing up and out as you exhale.
Becoming aware of the sensation of your breath caressing your throat.
Beginning to imagine this caress like a gentle sweeping motion.
The inhalation bringing in inspiration from the divine to express.
The exhalation sweeping out all of the things left unsaid,
All of the untruths spoken,
All of the harsh words.
Feeling the breath sweep them up and out as you exhale.
Making your throat clearer.
Making your expression more true,
More easeful.
Just breathe and allow this movement to take place,
This clearing to happen.
Bringing the breath up now to the space between the eyebrows,
That inner knowing,
The third eye.
And with your eyes closed,
Gently draw your gaze to this point between your brows.
And feel as if the inhalations from your nose are coming up and into your third eye.
Swirling around in a counter-clockwise motion and then exiting through your nose clearing illusion.
Allowing your third eye to see the unseen more clearly.
To open to cosmic truth.
To witness the divine in all that is.
Let the breath do this work effortlessly.
Feel the energy moving in your body.
Feel the third eye becoming crystal clear.
Bringing the breath up now to the crown,
The top of the head.
Feel the inhalation opening,
Expanding the top of your head to the heavens.
If you're sitting,
Maybe even stretching the top of your head closer to the sky,
Elongating the spine.
Let the exhalation invite a pillar of light from the heavens into your crown.
And feel this pillar of light flowing through each energy center from your crown to your third eye,
To your throat,
To your heart,
To your solar plexus,
To your sacral.
To your root,
Into the earth.
Now imagine the inhalation drawing the energy from the earth through this pillar of light up your spine and out to the heavens.
Feel on the exhalation energy from the divine from the heavens flowing through your crown,
Down this pillar of light,
Down your spine and into the earth.
Inhaling up from the earth to the heavens,
Exhaling from the heavens through your spine down to the earth.
Noticing all of these energy centers we cleared,
Opening and allowing this pillar of light to flow effortlessly up and down the spine.
Allowing you to be a channel,
To be a portal between the infinite divine and the finite manifested form of this earth.
Let this be effortless.
You were born to be this channel.
Let the breath move the energy.
Let your spine carry it through you.
To be this portal,
To be this channel,
Opens you to something larger than your individual perspective.
Empowers you to be a light and beacon in this world.
Allows you to rest in the knowing that you are held by the earth,
By the divine,
By your physical body,
By your breath,
By the prana,
The life force that flows through you.
Allow yourself to rest now in the comfort of knowing how very held you are.
When you're ready,
Invite a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Do this two more times.
Inhale.
Exhale through the mouth.
