This meditation is adapted from the Foundations of Science of Mind "Letting Your Love Flow: Expanding Your Heart" practice. It is designed to do for 6 days, with three different meditations. This is the Letting Your Love Flow,

Expanding Your Heart Meditation,

Days two and three.

Go ahead and sit down quietly.

Find a comfortable place to be and begin by breathing easily,

Allowing your whole body to relax deeper and deeper with every breath.

As you relax,

Focus all of your attention on your breath,

Being aware of the rise and fall of your chest area.

Now focus your attention on your heart and relax into a feeling of expansion in your chest area.

With every inhale,

Expanding that heart space and with every exhale,

Relaxing even deeper.

Now begin thinking of someone very dear to you,

Someone who is easy to love and allow the sensation of pure love to be your focus.

Notice what it feels like,

The sensations that you experience in your body,

The feelings that are brought up as you feel this pure love.

Allow your mind to be quiet.

There's no need to think about love or visualize love.

Instead,

Focus on just experiencing love.

Notice how this presence of love in your heart space expands with every inhale and that this love brings about more love in your body.

Allow yourself to truly experience the sense of pure love.

Take time to notice what else you feel behind the initial sensations of love,

What experiences are underneath.

You might be feeling warmth,

Tingling,

Maybe serenity or joy.

Come in tune with this feeling of love and how it feels for you.

How do you experience love in your mind,

Your body,

Your soul and your spirit?

Truly experience what love feels like.

Begin to add additional people whom you care for,

Love,

Like and are fond of as you contemplate this love,

As you experience the feelings and sensations that love evokes for you.

Allow these various people,

These friends,

Loved ones,

Partners,

Acquaintances,

Perhaps people in your past.

Perhaps even just the people that you interacted with or walked by on the street today.

Allow each of them to come to the forefront of your attention and notice with every person that passes through your consciousness,

This feeling of love expands.

Spend just a couple of minutes being pure love and noticing where and how you experience that pure love in your body,

In your heart space,

In your mind and your soul and your spirit.

Continue to feel this flow of love for as long as you would like,

Basking in the experience of these sensations.

When you feel complete,

I invite you back to this space,

Noticing the grounds beneath your feet,

The chair that is holding you up,

The sounds that you hear around you and gently open your eyes.
