This is the Letting Your Love Flow,

Expanding Your Heart Meditation,

Day 1.

Please note,

During this exercise,

You may feel various sensations in your chest area.

Some of the common sensations are warmth,

Tingling,

Lightness,

Heaviness,

Or emotional pain.

All of these sensations are energy movement.

If emotional pain is felt,

It is evidence that your physical body needs time to adjust to the higher frequency of feeling love.

Simply relax and ease into this feeling.

There is no rush here.

If emotions arise or you feel tears come to your eyes,

Allow them.

Being gentle with yourself.

Allow yourself to slow down and experience the release.

As this exercise is repeated,

The awareness of unconditional love comes more frequently and brings you a wonderful sense of tranquility.

You are exercising your love muscle,

Allowing it to get into shape easily and gently,

And very importantly,

Gracefully and lovingly.

Let's begin.

I invite you to find a comfortable place.

Go ahead and settle into your chair and begin bringing your attention to your breath,

Breathing easily and effortlessly.

With every exhale,

Allow your whole body to relax just a little more.

And as you relax,

Focus all of your attention on your breath.

Becoming aware of the rise and fall of your chest.

Now,

Focus your attention on your heart space.

And again,

Relax into the feeling of your chest expanding as you breathe in.

Relaxing as you breathe out.

Noticing that your heart expands with every inhale.

And you fall deeper into relaxation with every exhale.

Bring to mind someone very near and dear to you.

Someone easy to love.

This could be anyone in your life.

Perhaps it is a family member,

A partner,

A friend,

A beloved pet,

A child.

And as you bring this person to the forefront of your mind,

Allow the sensation of pure love to be your focus.

Notice what this love feels like.

This is a sensing process.

Invite your mind to still.

There is no need for thinking or visualization.

But rather this is a time to just feel that pure love energy that is bubbling up from your heart space and radiating out to this person.

This person that is so beloved by you.

With every inhale,

See if you can expand that love just a little further.

And with every exhale,

Send that love to this person that you have brought to your mind.

Notice what this pure love feels like.

Notice what you feel as you experience and expand this love.

Perhaps you feel warmth,

Tingling,

Maybe other sensations.

Continue to breathe and become in tune with the love that you are generating in your heart.

Become in tune with how it feels to you,

In you,

Through you and as you.

And spend just another minute or two truly experiencing what this loving feeling feels like.

And when you feel complete,

Bless this person and send them gently on their way.

Thank your heart,

Your body,

Your mind,

Your soul and your spirit for this time of expansion.

This time of love.

And gently return to the room.

Wiggling fingers and toes,

Bringing a smile gently to your face and opening your eyes.
