Connecting With Your Pet Over The Rainbow Bridge

This meditation was inspired by a dear friend who lost her beloved dog. Three days after the dog passed, she took a photo and noticed a beautiful rainbow in the distance. This was unusual, because it appeared in an area of the sky, and time of day, where rainbows are rarely seen. She took this as a sign that her beloved dog had made it to the Rainbow Bridge. Now, through this meditation journey, you too can also connect with your pets who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Greetings and welcome i'm rev j and in this meditation i will be gently guiding you on a journey to connect with your pet who have crossed over the rainbow bridge find yourself a nice comfortable position whatever feels comfortable to you this will help prepare you for this meditation journey let's begin by taking a nice deep breath holding for a gentle count whatever's comfortable for you and exhale just going into a nice deep relaxation anything that you may be holding on to just melts away taking another nice deep breath in filling up your lungs fill them up with light and love and exhaling all that no longer serves you relaxing deeper and deeper and one last breath hold for a gentle count and exhaling completely it feels so good to just let go and take this time for you breathing naturally and normally as your body is completely relaxed and preparing for this beautiful journey to the rainbow bridge i would like to invite you to see sense feel or imagine whatever is easiest for you that there is a forest in front of you and this forest is full of light from the sun just illuminating the trees as the leaves gently whistle in the breeze as you look ahead you see a pathway that has been lit up to show you the way through the forest this pathway feels very safe as you walk with ease you begin to feel a gentle warmth coming from your heart space it is as though you can feel this warmth coming from your heart growing bigger and bigger it feels so extraordinary it feels like the most incredible love you have ever felt before and it is guiding you on this pathway to the end of the forest and where the forest line ends it opens up to a gorgeous meadow the meadow of possibilities the meadow of possibilities is full of wildflowers grassy knolls butterflies dreams and possibilities the skies is the limit and as you walk through the wonderment of the meadow you begin to see what looks like a mist maybe even a cloud your heart grows stronger with love and joy as you move closer to this beautiful and safe misty cloud when you finally meet up with this misty cloud an iridescent rainbow appears this is a special rainbow as it manifests stairs that form a rainbow bridge into the blue sky you take a deep breath feeling your joy and love as you know that your beloved pet is waiting for you to climb the rainbow stairs releasing your breath slowly you are invited to begin to walk the stairs with your heart leading you up the rainbow stairs the stairs become more and more radiant until they finally end on a pillowy cloud that houses a black gate you have arrived at the rainbow bridge with much excitement your heart sends out a rainbow energy that calls to your beloved pet that you've been wanting to connect with the rainbow energy connects with your pet and you can see sense feel or imagine they come running with joy to meet you as they approach the black gate the gate opens with ease so much joy and love as you connect in whatever way feels good for you together again you notice the cloud you are standing on reveals a spectacular play area that has every toy and all the treats you can imagine there are benches under trees areas to lay in the grass and roll around if you like canopies water fountains and lakes you are invited to go visit and play in the rainbow bridge park i invite you to listen with your heart does your beloved pet want to convey a message to you is there something that you want to say to them or wish you could have said they are side by side with you once more i'm going to be silent for a few moments so that you can bask in the joy and love as you play connect and or reminisce with your beloved pet and when you hear my voice again it will not disturb you take your time and enjoy your connection it feels so wonderful to have these moments once again with your pet take all that you shared and place it in the garden of your heart for this is where you can carry the memories and without sadness as you know that you can visit here anytime you wish to giving your pet one last bit of love releasing them so that they make their way back to their play area as you turn to walk to the black gate that will lead you back down the rainbow bridge as you meet the gate it gently opens and you step onto the cloud and start your way back down the rainbow stairs to the meadow in your mind's eye you see lovely pictures as if they are hanging on a wall of all the beautiful all the beautiful memories with all the joy in your heart and all the memories of your visit you take one last step off the rainbow stairs onto the ground of the meadow of possibilities with a gentle breeze that brushes past you the rainbow disappears into the clouds you're walking through the meadow of possibilities until you get to the edge of the forest you continue into the forest taking the lit pathway back to where you began filled with all the love joy and memories of your journey you make your way back into the room in which you began i invite you to take a nice deep breath in filling your body with light and love and exhale all the joy and love into your room knowing that you can visit the rainbow bridge park and your beloved pet anytime and when you are ready gently move your hands and your feet and maybe if it feels good give yourself a hug i invite you to open your eyes and bring your full awareness back into your room in this present moment wishing you all the light and love from my heart to yours blessings
