Welcome friends.

Take a moment to get comfortable.

Adjust the volume if you need to.

This is a quick mindfulness practice.

You can do this with your eyes open or closed.

The goal is a calm mind and a moment to be.

Let's begin.

Take three deliberate breaths.

Become aware of what muscles you use to draw air in and to push out.

What part of your body is in contact with the ground?

Feel the gravity support you.

With your next breath in,

Imagine yourself lifting off the ground.

You're weightless.

You drift up into a pillowy white cloud.

It smells like summer rain and sunshine.

Its airy mist delights your skin.

Now as you exhale,

You feel drawn back to the earth.

You melt into a feather,

Drifting effortlessly,

Caressed by the breeze.

You gently become aware of the ground that holds you.

Once again,

You feel connected to the earth's gravity.

Wiggle your toes,

Your fingers.

Become aware of your surroundings.

Feel thanks.

Namaste.
