Welcome to this meditation.
This meditation is designed to help you embrace your lost inner child.
Sit in an upright position,
Relax,
And focus on your breathing.
We're going to spend a few minutes becoming mindful of your breathing.
Be aware of the air as you breathe it in and as you breathe it out.
Notice the difference in the air as it comes in and as it goes out.
Pay attention to the parts of your body that help pull the air in and what it feels like as you relax and let the air out.
Now continue your controlled breathing.
If it gets a little more natural,
That's okay.
Now imagine that you're walking down a flight of stairs.
It's a long flight of stairs.
Walk down slowly.
You're going to continue walking down as I count down from 10,

Within eight hours,
Your bodymap becomes a clear relationship to what I've been through secondary to my own.
If you think about it,
It's In the past,
Pretty much everywhere on this planet,
We would overcomes your body.
And on the other side you're on the street that you grew up in.
It's a familiar street.
It's the street you played on before you were seven years old.
Walk down that street.
Notice the other houses.
The sounds are familiar.
The smells are familiar.
As you walk down that street,
You notice the house that you grew up in.
Look at that house.
As you approach,
Notice the color of the house.
Notice the roof.
The windows.
How big is that house?
What does the yard look like?
As you get to the house,
A small child comes out the front door.
How is the child dressed?
What color are the child's shoes?
The child is happy.
They smile.
As you walk over to the child,
The child is friendly.
Tell them that you're from his future.
Tell them that you know better than anyone what they have been through.
Suffering,
Abandonment,
Shame.
Tell them that of all the people they will ever know,
You are the only one that will never leave.
The only one they will never lose.
Ask them if they're willing to go with you.
Take them by the hand and start to walk away back up the street.
As you get a few steps away,
You look back and notice your mom and dad come out on the front porch.
Wave to them goodbye and they wave back.
As you walk down the street away from the house,
You look back over your shoulder and you see your parents and the house get smaller and smaller until they are completely gone.
As you keep walking down the street and turn the corner,
You see a group of people.
Amongst them is their most cherished friends and your higher power,
All waiting for you.
Embrace all your friends and allow your higher power to come into your heart.
Now walk away and promise your child you will meet them for five minutes each day.
Pick an exact time.
Commit to the time.
Put your child in your hands.
Embrace the child and let them melt into your heart.
Now walk to some beautiful outdoor place.
You are amazed at the beauty and the sounds of nature.
Stand in the middle of that place and reflect on the experience that you just had.
The experience of meeting yourself as an innocent child.
You feel attached and bonded to that child.
You feel a sense of love like you've never felt before.
You feel a connection with that child and with your higher power and with all things that you see in this beautiful outdoor place you are standing in.
You feel safe.
You feel hopeful.
You feel taken care of.
Look up in the sky.
See clouds drifting by.
You are amazed at the beauty and the softness of the clouds.
The white is a contrast against the blue sky.
A cloud that drifts by in the shape of the number five.
It's moving.
It's shifting into the number four.
You start to become aware of your feet and your legs.
The number four slowly turns into a three.
You feel the life start to come back in your stomach and your arms.
You feel the fingers and you feel them.
As the three starts to turn into a two.
You feel feeling come back in your face and your whole body.
You know that you are about to become fully awake and able to do all the things with your fully awake mind.
The two morphs and slowly turns into a one.
You open your eyes aware that you will remember this experience and keep your commitment to meet your inner child every day at the time that you've committed to.
