Letter to my future love. Dear one, I cannot promise to remember your birthday or anniversaries. My mind forgets such things. I do promise I will forever say your name with sweetness and I will write your name in the sand and in the snow. I will memorize the constellations of our love and every line and mark that makes you unique. I will make you coffee in the morning and learn early the foods and tastes that you prefer. I will always know your favorite songs and how you like your eggs. These things, Darling one, I will remember. And if and when there comes a day when my mind grows old, I pray, I pray that I remember love, Laughter, And the day that I wrote this yearning for your love.
