Now,
As you sit or lie down for these few short minutes,
If you can,
Turn your head off any harsh lighting,
Maybe close the blinds or draw the curtains slightly,
And feel free to support yourself with whatever cushions or soft things you have to hand.
Maybe a rolled up sweater or cardigan,
If you have no cushions or pillows.
Make sure you can be warm and comfortable and cozy.
Once you're settled,

And now there is a bone deep need for rest and recovery,
For slowing and stopping,
So that you can go into the springtime of your next cycle,

So,
Just for now,
Honour the Goddess within by making a few moments of space,
To come into a place of perfect rest and utter surrender.
No effort.
Allow your body to breathe itself.
Don't try to control or to change anything.
Just accept what is,
Without judgement.
This moment of rest is perfection.
And you are perfect,
Just exactly as you are.
You it within the matter.
You
