Hello,
Welcome to a quick 5-minute grounding.
To come back into the body,
To reconnect with the body,
To reconnect with ourselves.
Check in how am i doing right now so if you'd like to start by closing the eyes or keeping a soft gaze resting resting the gaze allowing the eyes to take a break from everything that it has been doing today.
The eyes work so hard,
And it has earned this break.
Closing the eyes if that feels comfortable.
Open with the eyes closed.
Noticing the breath.
Noticing how am I breathing right now.
There's no need to change or fix or control the breath.
The breath is the body's innate intelligence.
Simply here to check in.
My body is still breathing.
My body knows how to breathe without conscious efforts.
Noticing if there's an area of the body that the breath is most felt right now.
And I wonder if.
.
.
As we bring attention to the breath,
The breath starts to change,
To slow down,
To become deeper.
And if not,
That's okay too.
Whatever we notice is okay.
Checking in.
How is my heart right now?
How is your heart right now?
How is your emotional body right now?
Place a hand on the heart if that helps you notice what's alive here.
And then bringing attention to where the body makes contact with the ground beneath,
Or the chair,
The floor.
Cushion,
The bed,
Wherever you might be.
Whatever position you are in is perfectly okay noticing all the points of contact between the body and what is holding us up noticing the textures.
Noticing the solidity.
Noticing.
Do I feel supported by the ground right now?
And if you'd like to open your eyes again,
Welcome back.
Back to space that you're in.
Free to look around,
Be free to stretch a little bit.
Thank you for taking this quick break.
Thank you for giving yourself 5 minutes to pause.
Have a great day ahead.
