Hello and a warm welcome to Inside Time.
I am Rahul Singh.
There may be something you are trying to figure out right now.
A decision.
A conversation.
Something you are waiting to hear.
Or simply What happens next?
And the mind keeps returning to it.
Replaying,
Predicting,
Looking for the answer that will finally allow you to settle.
But sometimes the answer is not available yet.
And often,
What exhausts us is not only uncertainty,
It is the feeling that we must resolve it now.
For the next few minutes,
We are not going to solve the question.
We are going to practice leaving it unanswered.
First,
Notice your body.
Feel the surface supporting you.
Your feet.
Your hands.
One natural breath.
Nothing to change.
Just notice that you are here.
Now bring to mind the thing you have been trying to resolve.
Only enough to recognize it.
Notice what happens.
Perhaps the mind begins working immediately.
Maybe there is an urge to check.
To replay.
To predict.
To decide.
Do not follow the urge yet.
Just notice it.
Now ask yourself.
Is there anything useful I can actually do about this right now?
If there is,
That is your next action.
Make the call.
Send the message.
Write it down.
Make the decision.
But if there is nothing useful to do right now,
Notice that too.
Because more thinking is not always more problem solving.
Sometimes the mind has reached the end of what it knows.
And continues thinking because it dislikes not knowing.
This is the moment to recognize the difference.
I don't know.
And I must know.
The first is uncertainty.
The second is the struggle with uncertainty.
See if you can let go of the second.
I don't know.
And for now.
.
.
I can let that be true.
Notice if the mind offers another question.
What if this happens?
What does this mean?
What should I do?
You do not have to answer it.
Let the question remain open.
Return to what is known.
The weight of your body.
The feeling in your hands.
The sounds around you.
This breath.
You may not know what happens next.
But you know where you are now.
And this moment may not require an answer.
Some things become clear through action.
Some through conversation.
Some through new information.
Some through time.
You do not have to force clarity before clarity is available.
Bring the unresolved question to mind once more.
And imagine placing it beside you.
Not solving it.
Not pushing it away.
Simply setting it down.
You can return to it when there is something new to know.
Or something useful to do.
Until then.
.
.
You do not have to keep thinking simply because the answer is missing.
Feel the body again.
Supported.
Breathing.
Nothing has been solved.
And yet.
.
.
You can still be here.
This is the practice.
Not becoming certain.
Becoming More Able to remain steady.
Without certainty.
If the mind asks.
What happens next?
I don't know yet.
What should I do?
I will act when there is something to do.
But what if.
.
.
I don't need to answer that right now.
Allow one thing in your life to remain unfinished.
One question without a conclusion.
Notice that you are still here.
Breathing.
Support it.
Present.
And perhaps.
.
.
That is enough for this moment.
I don't know.
I don't need to know yet.
I don't need the answer right now.
Whatever needs to become clear,
Can become clear when more is known.
Whatever needs action.
Can be met.
When it is time to act.
For now.
You can put the question down.
You don't need the answer.
Right now.
You
