Transcript

Mindfulness of thoughts and feelings practice.

Settle into the sensation of your body.

Be aware of your entire body and ground yourself in the sensations and movement of breath.

Then notice when thoughts and feelings suddenly appear in this field of awareness.

Internally,

Make a note such as thought arising or feeling arising.

Simply label thoughts and feelings without analyzing or following them.

Always return to the sensation of breath and again be aware when thoughts and feelings emerge.

Notice how thoughts and feelings arise out of space and fall back into it.

With direction yet without substance.

Thoughts might appear like rays of light passing through.

Emotions may feel like gusts of wind appearing and disappearing.

Always return to the sensation of breath and again be aware when the phenomena of thoughts and feelings emerge.

Let them pass through without entangling yourself and see each distraction as an opportunity to strengthen your practice.

As always,

Return to the sensations and movement of breath.

Remember that everything changes naturally.

Thank you for watching.
