The older we get the more we may ask ourselves - What is the purpose of life? I don't believe any of us truly know the answer to that, yet we still keep asking and searching. Here's a little poem for those of you who also are questioning your life.

As we grow older,

There is so much more to shoulder.

Gone is the dreaming,

Replaced by the meaning.

Accept the illusion,

It will ease your confusion.

Reality is created,

Not media-narrated.

Why wait for your shake-up?

Go ahead and wake up.

Speak your truth,

Or forever stay mute.

So what's it gonna be?

Fictional fact?

Honesty or an act?

Purpose or play?

Or repeat another day?

The older we get,

The more we may regret.

We can't change the past,

Or rewind time,

But it still plays in our mind.

Maybe acceptance is the key,

Or so we're made to believe.

But then what is life,

Without mishaps along the way?

Aren't we here to learn,

Before we fly away?
