Be aware of the breath and feel warm and welcome.
Welcome here in this body,
The only place that you truly get to live.
All is well.
Permit yourself to notice the thoughts.
Thank them.
And allow them to be paused for a while.
With each exhalation,
Imagine the thoughts drifting away so that you can set them down a little way away from the body.
Without the weight of the thoughts,
Allow your attention to turn towards the body.
Beginning with the feet,
Notice their position.
Perhaps bring to your mind's eye how your feet look.
You might have crooked or straight toes.
The skin of the feet might be smooth or rough.
However they look,
Your feet carry your body wherever you want it to go.
Send gratitude to your amazing feet.
Think now of the legs,
The lower legs and the upper legs.
And bring an image of them to your mind.
Long legs or short legs,
Thick legs or thin legs,
They propel you on your journey.
They hold the weight of your upper body,
Perhaps they facilitate many of your activities such as walking,
Dancing or even sitting.
Send gratitude to your beautiful legs.
The attention can travel to your hips,
Lower back and pelvic area.
Your hips might be narrow or wide.
They house and support so many vital functions of the body.
The ridding of food and water that's no longer needed,
Sexual pleasure and health and this area is even vital to the efficient functioning of your breath.
Your hip area is incredible.
Send gratitude.
Take your attention now to the abdomen and your chest and bring to mind an image of your torso.
Flat chested or big busted,
Slim or wide,
Smooth skinned or dimpled and stretch marked.
Your heart lives here.
The breath that sustains you is ingested here.
The food and water that nourishes you is processed here.
The whole of your abdomen area is simply beautiful in its work.
Send it gratitude and love.
Allow your attention to travel towards the shoulders,
Broad and strong or narrow and petite.
The shoulder girdle supports the upper part of your body,
Carries the weight of the head and the arms.
The shoulders carry whatever we ask of them,
Sometimes even bearing the weight of our worries.
Send gratitude to your lovely shoulders.
Your attention can now come to your arms,
Slender and long or short and thick.
Visualise your arms and your hands.
They facilitate so many activities for you,
Such as preparing and eating your food,
Keeping you clean,
Communicating and providing comfort to you and to your loved ones.
The hands are an extension of the heart chakra.
How wonderful it is to embrace the people we love.
Send gratitude to the arms and hands.
Finally,
Your whole head and face.
Every single face is different,
Yet common features.
Eyes,
Nose,
Mouth,
Ears,
Hair.
The face communicates with the outside world,
Verbally and otherwise.
The face is one of the ways we are recognisable to our family and friends and people that we know.
We can manipulate the expression of the face to convey the emotion that we are feeling.
Every single face is different.
Visualise the skin of the face.
Perhaps there are small lines,
Scars or deep wrinkles.
Perhaps each line has a story of tears of sadness or the memories of a thousand smiles and times of laughter.
Your face shines your beautiful light out into the world.
Send gratitude to your beautiful face.
You don't need to look like anyone else.
Consider the word beauty.
The outside of your body looks exactly as it should do to house all of the insides of your body.
It supports the function of your body beautifully.
How boring it would be if everyone looked the same.
You don't need to look like anyone else because you are beautiful just the way that you are.
Consider your amazing body and everything it does to support you and to keep itself alive and healthy.
Consider the mouth and lift the corners of the mouth into a small smile.
Consider feeling complete gratitude and love for this amazing body that you get to live in every single day.
Start to deepen the breath and begin to move the body in small gentle and kind ways to bring yourself to a waking state.
Deepen the breath.
Begin to flutter the eyes open.
Thank you for being with me today beautiful.
