Hello and welcome.
Thank you for joining me today for this visualization practice.
This meditation is called rooted tree.
Start by coming into a comfortable position.
Softly close your eyes.
You can choose to remain seated or maybe you want to stand.
Do whatever feels right for you.
Begin to breathe slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Allow the breath to come naturally.
Start to notice your inhale becoming deeper and your exhale slowly releasing.
Start to become aware of your body in whatever position you're in.
And take three more deep and cleansing breaths.
We're going to grow some roots today if you haven't already.
And if you have,
Just notice and reconnect to them.
Maybe you want to strengthen these life giving roots that have allowed you to grow into the magnificent tree that you are or will become after today.
Now start to feel and imagine yourself growing strong and supportive roots that will connect and ground you so you can continue to grow into the life giving tree that you are and that you are meant to be.
Notice your roots traveling deeper and deeper into the ground below you.
They can grow through even the densest and rockiest of Earth's foundation if you believe they can.
All they need is the right environment to grow.
Continue to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As your roots continue to grow deeper,
You begin to expand from above.
Imagine yourself as a full and expansive tree with vibrant green,
Red,
And yellow hues just bursting through the sky.
You are tall and strong.
The top of your tree is limitless now.
Sense how grounded you have become.
Your roots are strong and unbreakable.
Look at each root and see how they are embedded into the ground.
They are holding and supporting you on your journey.
Continue to nurture and strengthen their connection to the Earth.
Take a moment to notice just how beautiful you really are.
Continue to breathe deeply and slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Take three more deep and cleansing breaths.
Start to come back from your journey today and notice how much stronger and rooted you feel.
Your legs might even feel a little longer from the growth.
Start to wiggle your toes and fingers.
Slowly flutter your eyes open and return to the room.
Thank yourselves for the work that you have done today.
