My name is Maria.
Welcome to our morning meditation.
This short meditation is a sign to help you start your day feeling grounded,
Centered,
And positive.
Sometimes starting a new day can feel challenging and overwhelming.
So taking just five minutes for yourself can positively shift your mood and the way you move through your day.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable position.
And take a moment to arrive.
You can gently place one hand on your chest,
One hand on your belly and closing the eyes.
Simply notice the breath.
Feel the breath moving through the belly.
Through the chest And following the natural movement of the breath here.
Allowing the breath to slow down.
And allowing your body to relax Begin to imagine that you're bringing all your energy back to your center.
So noticing all the places that your mind might be going at this time.
Or the different.
Responsibilities and things to do.
And simply bring your attention,
Your energy back to your center.
Back to your breath.
Back to this moment.
Notice the weight of your body.
Notice the parts of the body in contact with the ground with your seed.
Notice any tension that you might be holding.
And giving yourself space to be.
So begin to give yourself space to be as you are in this moment And take some deep and full breaths.
Allowing the breath to create even more space and then begin to draw the awareness into your heart And take a moment here to set an intention.
For your day.
It can be a word.
Be.
Calm,
Peace.
Enjoy fun.
And then visualize yourself.
Moving throughout your day in that way.
Visualize yourself grounded,
Center,
Positive.
Slowly beginning to come back to your body.
Fingers and toes.
Open your eyes.
