Hello,
My name is Maria.
Welcome to our meditation space.
Today I'm going to be sharing with you a meditation to help you to feel more grounded.
So let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
You can be sitting down or laying down,
And taking a moment to arrive into this moment.
And then you can go ahead and bring your hands together and rub your hands,
Creating a little bit of warmth in the palms of your hands.
And then go ahead and place the hands on the lower belly,
Below your navel.
And then simply beginning to notice the breath,
Feeling the breath deep down in the belly.
Allowing yourself to begin to slow down,
Exactly as you are.
And then begin to feel the way of your body,
Into your seat.
Feeling the way of the body,
The surface that is beneath you.
Beginning to draw your awareness down into the sitting bones,
Down into the hips and the buttocks.
And feeling the breath,
Moving deep down in every exhale.
And then continuing to bring your awareness down into your legs,
The bottoms of the feet.
And then begin to imagine as if you were growing roots from the bottoms of your feet.
And imagining as those roots moving into the earth.
And then allowing yourself to let go.
Feeling the support of the earth,
Of the ground.
And then allowing the earth to just take anything that you don't longer need.
Any excess of energy,
Tensions,
Worries and cares.
Just imagining the earth beginning to take all that energy and composting all of that energy into light.
And imagining all that stress,
All that energy that's no longer needed being completely composted,
Completely transformed into light,
Into this deep nourishment.
And then now visualizing that new energy as golden light,
As this deep nourishment from the earth moving back into your body,
Through the soles of your feet,
All the way up through the legs,
All the way up into the base of your spine,
As this bowl of golden light,
Grounding earth energy.
And then just feel this golden light beginning to expand.
Feel this energy expanding beyond the body,
All around.
You can repeat to yourself,
Mentally or out loud.
And then as you're ready,
Beginning to move fingers and toes,
And then gently opening up the eyes.
