Hello dear one,
The purpose of our little journey today is to transform the belief that we can only grow through struggles and it is only through the dark night of the soul that we can wake up to who we are and bring more peace into our life.
Today we will go through a journey that will bring us the notion that it is possible to grow also through beauty,
Through joy and love,
Allow your body to become totally relaxed and then we'll begin our journey.
Imagine that you are standing on a beautiful woodland path,
The sun is shining through the trees and you notice many different shades of green in the leaves,
They're gently dancing with the breeze.
You become curious as what the path that you're standing on looks like,
Is it grassy track or well-trodden earth?
And you look at your feet,
Are you wearing any shoes?
If you are,
What are you wearing?
What color?
You can hear the sounds around you,
Birds singing,
The rustles of leaves in the breeze and the sounds of little animals and maybe you hear water and now you follow the path to wherever it leads and then you get to an opening.
It is here that you're going to meet the part of you that grows through struggle.
Here there might be a fallen tree trunk or a flat boulder and sitting on that tree trunk or boulder there will be a person or a creature and you're gonna know that this creature or person is the part of you that grows through struggles.
Let it take whatever form it takes and allow the image to become even clearer as you start moving towards it,
Going nearer to it.
What does it look like?
Can you sense how it feels?
You feel yourself filled with loving compassion as you watch it and you say hello and you see it looking back,
It senses your loving approach and opens up to you and responds.
You're gonna tell it that you wish to understand why it attracts problem and stress in your life and you wait and the answer might not come in words,
It might come as thoughts,
Images,
Memories or even a sudden flash of intuition.
Even if your mind might say that it doesn't believe this and it thinks you're making the answer up,
Don't worry about the mind,
Don't mind the mind.
You recognize that the struggler has been really trying to help you grow in the only way that it knew how and it's been trying to be your friend.
So thank it for its help and explain that you are learning a new way of growing which you believe will be more enjoyable and effective.
Tell it that you wish to grow through joy from now on by reaching for your dreams,
Following your heart,
Taking a hundred percent responsibility for your life and discovering more and more of your wholeness.
Ask the struggler whether it will help you to grow through joy,
Will it join you and deal with any reservations that it might have and once it agrees to help,
Give it a new job to do.
Perhaps it would like to send you a wake-up signal when it sees that you're harboring negative thoughts or beliefs or when you are making a simple task into a struggle.
Agree to how it would help and then feel your love for this part of yourself,
Really feel it and watch how your love transforms it,
It changes it in front of your eyes,
Your deep love for it and finally allow this part of you that you were watching from the outside to absorb into your body and become part of you again.
Continue along the path until you come to a waterfall in the very heart of the forest,
Hear the sound of the waterfall and feel the water splish splashing up against you and then go nearer and nearer and step into the waterfall feeling the water splashing down on your head and body and ask the waterfall to wash away any lost traces of growing through struggle and wash away any martyrdom or self-pity or a belief that you have to suffer to become whole.
Tell the waterfall that you are now willing to grow through joy,
Courage,
Trust trust and vision,
That you are willing to love and be loved and that you are willing to create heaven on earth and feel the spirit of water surrounding you adding its energy to your affirmations.
Stay there for as long as you like and when you are ready gently bring yourself back to your body in your room,
Feel the space that surrounds you and know that your helper will nudge you next time you choose to struggle rather than find a different way to grow which is much more enjoyable.
