Welcome to this guided shadow work meditation for self-worth.
When you're ready,
Find yourself a comfortable position,
Seated or laying down,
And close your eyes.
Slowing down your breath,
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep inhale,
Feeling the air expand your chest and your tummy.
And slowly exhale through your mouth,
Letting out a sigh of any built-up energy.
Taking another deep breath in,
Feeling the air being pulled in through your nostrils.
And again,
Sighing it out.
Take one more big,
Deep breath in.
And on your exhale,
I want you to release it as slow as you can.
Continue this pattern of breathing and begin to scan your body.
Noticing anywhere you might be holding tension from the day.
Releasing your forehead.
Unclenching your jaw.
Dropping your shoulders and releasing your arms.
Relaxing your back and your legs.
Releasing more tension on every exhale.
Now come back to your natural rhythm of breath,
Feeling a deeper sense of relaxation and calmness with each exhale.
Melting into the surface beneath you.
Relaxing even deeper.
I'm going to count down from 10 and with every number you will relax even deeper.
10,
9,
Feeling more relaxed.
Seven.
Relaxing even deeper.
Six.
Five.
A sense of ease rolls through your body.
Four.
Three.
Even more relaxed.
Two.
One.
Take note of any emotional tension that you're holding on to.
Anything that stuck with you throughout the day.
And begin to see all of these floating around in your aura,
Taking note of their color and their texture.
And slowly begin to gather them into your heart space.
On your next inhale,
I want you to breathe into these emotions.
And on your next exhale,
Imagine all the energy flowing out of your system,
Completely releasing it,
Leaving nothing left behind.
Now imagine in this room there is an elevator.
The doors open up and you step inside.
The elevator is going down and you relax deeper with each floor.

6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
The doors open to your favorite place in nature.
Step outside and allow your feet to ground into the earth.
Acknowledging how this place makes you feel so calm and so at peace.
What do you see around you?
What sounds do you hear?
What do you feel on the surface of your skin?
What can you touch and what is the texture like?
What can you smell?
You begin to feel rain slowly hitting your head.
Little droplets moving down to your shoulders.
And as this rain begins to quicken,
It begins to wash away all the walls you've built around yourself.
Your outer shield that you project onto others.
The false image you present for acceptance.
Or maybe to blend in with society that hides the shadow parts of yourself you don't want anyone to see.
And as the rain washes out this layer,
You start to see yourself clearly.
In your full authenticity and light.
You also see the shadows of unworthiness that you have been keeping hidden.
Bring to mind the aspects of yourself that you rejected.
Preventing you from feeling worthy of your desires.
Notice where that is within yourself.
Now bring to mind something that you judge in others who do encompass a strong sense of self-worth and self-love.
And notice where that is inside yourself that you don't feel ready to reveal.
You are now your full shadow self.
Ask yourself what you need in order to fully integrate these aspects and to accept all of yourself and truly feel worthy.
Take some time now to give yourself what you need.
You can see a figure standing in the distance.
And as you move closer to this figure,
You see it as someone from your life whose opinion you strongly value.
Someone who you hide these shadow aspects from out of fear of judgment or non-acceptance.
Notice that feeling that's coming up.
Is it fear,
Sadness,
Anger?
Keep scanning until you find all of the emotions linked.
Allow yourself to accept everything you're feeling or thinking without judgment.
And take a second to notice where these emotions are located in your body.
What do they look like?
What color are they?
What shape are they?
And what is their texture like?
Maybe it's spiky,
Smooth,
Maybe it's misty.
Everything that you are feeling and seeing are completely valid.
And on your next inhale,
I want you to breathe into these feelings.
And then on the exhale,
Release them from your body completely.
And again,
Inhale into those unwanted thoughts and emotions.
And then exhale,
Releasing them completely.
What have you always wanted to or needed to say to this person in order to feel whole?
Exhale out any residual energy you have been holding onto from this person.
And watch them leave.
Now I want you to visualize the violet flame encompassing you from the ground all the way above your head.
The flame is not hot,
But it clears away any stagnant energy.
This is energy holding you back from going after your goals,
From standing in your worth,
Clearing any feelings of unworthiness or that you're not good enough.
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to bring forward a specific memory.
And once you have that memory in your mind,
I want you to rewrite it,
Creating a new neural pathway in your brain.
I want you to reimagine that memory in a way that feels healthy,
Where you feel aligned,
And where you feel whole.
So when you're ready.
Clear that flame away.
And begin to bring forward the first memory or situation where you felt not good enough or judged for being yourself.
The one where you learned that you needed external validation to feel whole and worthy.
And then rewrite this in your mind.
Ask your subconscious now to show you all the things it needs you to do to integrate these lessons.
Thank your higher self and your subconscious for being here to support you.
And hold on to that feeling of gratitude for as long as you can.
You slowly begin to drift away from this place,
Taking with you all that you have experienced.
Gently coming back to your body in this moment.
Taking a big,
Deep breath in,
Starting to feel your body again.
Noticing the sounds around you.
And as you exhale,
Starting to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Gently creating soft movements with your body if you need to.
And when you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
The light in me acknowledges the light in each and every one of you.
