In a highly materialistic,
Consumer-driven world.
I invite you to stay connected to nature.
Nature can be so healing.
Bringing us out of our busy minds,
Out of the busy world,
And back into the present moment.
Back to the here and now.
It's possible that all five senses can become activated while in nature.
Bringing us back to our bodies.
A part of nature.
Going for a walk through the woods the other day.
I thought how seasons change naturally.
Where I live,
We are currently transitioning from summer to fall.
The leaves on the trees are changing color ever so slowly.
Some trees have begun to drop their leaves.
A sign of letting go.
Acorns are dropping from oak trees.
Squirrels are scurrying about,
Preparing for the next season.
No one is doing this.
No one is flipping a switch.
No one is plugging anything in.
This all happens naturally.
How magnificent!
Nature doing its thing.
Taking care of itself.
Going with the natural flow of change.
Not resisting.
Not controlling.
Not forcing.
Not manipulating.
Simply allowing the change to happen.
Is there a lesson here?
Yes,
Of course.
Can we quiet our minds enough to experience nature's beautiful transitions?
And changes in our own lives.
If our mind is quiet,
Without trying to control,
Manipulate,
Force,
Or resist anything,
Our life will naturally flow too.
Life can be peaceful.
Beautiful.
If we learn to go with the flow.
Life's flow.
Life's natural transitions and evolution.
We have to let go of the grip the ego mind has on us.
That is the only way.
Let go,
Like the tree lets go of its leaf.
Or the leaf lets go of the tree.
No matter what way we look at it.
There is a letting go.
Letting go has to happen in order to set us free.
Staying connected to nature will allow for this.
We are witness to this on a daily basis,
If we are aware enough to notice.
And courageous enough to allow it.
Nature is a beautiful teacher.
How will you stay connected to nature today?
