Take this time to connect deeply with yourself,
Your baby and the nurturing energy of Mother Earth.
Start by finding a comfortable seated or lying down position.
Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold for a moment and now exhale through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension.
Take a few more deep breaths at your own pace and with each exhale allow your body to feel heavier and supported by the surface beneath you.
You are safe,
You are held.
Begin to imagine yourself as a beautiful,
Strong tree in the middle of a peaceful forest.
See your roots extending down from your body through the surface you are resting on,
Deep into the earth.
Feel these roots growing stronger and wider with every breath,
Anchoring you firmly into the ground.
They twist and weave,
Reaching the rich soil,
Absorbing its strength and nourishment.
Now picture the energy of Mother Earth traveling up through your roots,
It's warm,
Steady and comforting.
Let this energy move into your body,
Filling you with a sense of calm and connection.
Now shift your awareness to your belly,
Where your baby rests.
Imagine this earth energy traveling further and surrounding your baby like a soft golden light.
Feel the bond between you and your baby growing even stronger,
Like two trees intertwined,
Sharing one powerful root system.
Take a moment to focus on your baby,
Visualize this tiny life within you,
Full of light,
Love and possibility.
With each inhale,
Imagine sending your love and gratitude to your baby,
And with each exhale,
Feel your baby sending you love and gratitude in return.
Picture the connection between you and your baby as an unbreakable thread of light,
Shimmering with the energy of life.
This thread ties you to one another and to the nurturing essence of the earth.
Now begin to repeat these affirmations silently or out loud.
I am grounded.
I am strong.
I am connected.
I am grounded.
I am strong.
My baby feels my love and my peace.
My baby feels my love and my peace.
We are nurtured by the energy of Mother Earth.
Feel this truth settling into your heart.
Trust in your body and its wisdom.

Start to gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and notice the support of the surface beneath you.
Take one final deep breath in and exhale completely.
