
Remembering Your Truth
In this guided meditation, you will reconnect to your breath and the present moment. You will find stillness in your being. Then, you will be brought on a visual journey of remembrance. Surrender to the most powerful portal, the present. Step into your truth. Remember.

Thank you for joining me for today's meditation.
Thank yourself in this moment for showing up today.
For finding the space and the time to settle into your being.
To remember what it means to be who you are.
It's time to find a comfortable seated position.
Or if you'd like,
Perhaps you lie down.
On the floor,
On your bed,
On the couch.
What matters most is that you feel comfortable.
That you feel held.
Once you've arrived here,
In the space where you feel supported by the earth's ground,
I want you to close your eyes gently.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale completely.
Allowing your breath to surge in and through the body.
Just to make its way out into the world again.
Let's do three deep,
Full,
Conscious breaths together.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Very good.
One more time.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Let it all out.
If you have any bit of breath left in your body,
Let it out now.
Push it out now.
Let it out.
It's time to sink into your being.
Sink deeply into your being.
This meditation practice is about remembrance.
It's about remembering who you are.
It's time to remember your truth.
Your truth is love.
As you settle into your being,
I want you to become aware of your fingertips.
And if your hands aren't already placed on your knees or by your sides,
Now is the time to do that.
Let your palms face the sky,
Allowing the sun,
Allowing the heavens to touch you through these open palms.
As you welcome in the day or perhaps the night,
Sink into this stillness,
Becoming very aware of your fingertips,
Of the inside of the palm of your hand,
Of your delicate forearm skin,
Your elbows,
Your arm,
Now your shoulder.
And as you breathe deeper and deeper,
Fuller and wholer,
I want you to become aware of your lips.
Become aware of your lips.
And now that you are breathing deeply,
Consciously,
And you have found the presence within your being,
It is time to notice the rise and the fall of your ribcage.
As it expands and contracts,
Just to expand and contract again,
Like the sun that rises every morning without fail,
And the moon that does just the same every night.
Our breath is a constant.
It is a constant in this life.
Every fiber of your being is pulsating with life,
And it is the breath that leads it through this journey of being alive,
Of feeling what it is like to feel while you are in this human body.
Now it is time to remember.
As you settle deeper and deeper into your being,
I want you to imagine you are walking down a road.
It is a dirt road that keeps going and going and going.
You can see it stretch out before you for miles and miles,
With no end in sight.
And you are walking,
Walking,
Walking.
It is warm.
There are trees surrounding this dirt road.
The grass is blowing in the wind.
The birds are chirping.
The sun is wrapping you in its warm embrace.
Everything is peaceful in this moment.
Everything is calm in this moment.
You have no worries,
No fears,
No doubts.
And as the sun shines down on your being,
You begin to feel an immense wave of gratitude wash over you.
What are you grateful for in this moment?
Is it the sun that is shining?
Perhaps it is the grass blowing in the wind.
Or maybe just the fact that you get to walk down this dirt road.
That your body is able enough to bring you on this journey of remembering.
Where do you feel this gratitude?
Is it in your belly?
Perhaps it is a tingle in your head.
Or maybe it is warmth in your heart space.
Become aware of where you feel this gratitude.
As you breathe and walk down this road,
Start to notice what color is this gratitude that you feel.
Is it green like the grass and the leaves that surround you?
Is it orange like a juicy tangerine?
Maybe it's white and bright like the rays of sun that kiss you as you walk down this dirt road.
As you become aware of this color,
Visualize this color.
Maybe it's spilling all over your limbs,
This color.
Maybe it's permeating outside of your physical body and becoming one with the trees around you.
Maybe now you are this color.
And maybe you feel some sort of sensation as you become this color.
As you walk down this dirt road,
An opening is clear in the near distance.
It's to your right and through the grass,
And it looks like it's just for you.
As you approach this opening,
You feel called to walk through this opening.
So maybe as this color is swirling around you,
You decide to enter this opening,
This opening of deep remembrance,
Deep remembrance of who you are.
And so as you step into this opening,
You follow the path before you.
There is warm sand beneath your feet.
The path that's leading you has warm sand.
Maybe you take your shoes off so that you can feel this warm sand with your toes.
Maybe you like the feeling of the sand in between your toes.
It's warm,
Almost hot in a pleasantly delightful way.
And as you walk down this path,
This opening that is cleared just for you,
You begin to hear the waves crashing on the shore.
As you breathe in and out,
The waves mimic your breathing,
Crashing on the shore,
Becoming one again with the water.
The waves push and pull,
Push and pull,
And you feel so called to continue down this path where you can hear the waves as you walk and walk down this path.
Suddenly you find yourself on a beach,
A beautiful,
Glorious beach.
It smells like the sea.
The warm sand beneath your feet hugs your little toes.
And in this moment,
You know you are truly free.
And maybe now it's time to find a comfortable spot to rest on this beach,
This warm beach where the clouds are white and fluffy above your head.
They do a good job of keeping you cool while still allowing the sun to warm you,
To hold you.
And as the waves crash upon the shore,
You feel a sense of ease,
Of stillness,
Of quiet within your inner being.
Everything in this moment is absolutely perfect.
You have found yourself sitting in your spot on this beach.
And you're doing a wonderful job of breathing deeply as you maintain your presence on this beach.
You are absolutely engulfed by what surrounds you.
And as you take in your surroundings,
The birds,
The seashells in the sand,
The sand castles being built by the little children playing by the water,
You settle into your being deeper,
Deeper,
Deeper.
You can let go now.
You can truly let go.
And as you find yourself in this comfortable position,
All your worries vanish with the wind.
Any thoughts you have are taken by the wind.
Now it's almost as if you can only be here,
Be here right now.
And it feels so good to be here right now.
And now you're starting to remember who you are.
As your heart beats,
You begin to see that it is in sync with the waves.
It is in sync with your breath.
Perhaps you become curious and you place your right hand over your heart.
And you begin to feel the way that nature mimics nature.
Your hand is on your heart.
And as you feel your heart beating,
You feel the pulse of the universe.
For this moment now,
You remember.
You remember your truth.
You remember who you really are.
And now you can rest.
You can really rest in this deep knowing,
This deep knowing that you are love.
You are loved.
You are loving.
You are love.
You are so love.
And it feels so warm to feel so loved.
Sink deeper into this knowingness.
Deeper,
Deeper,
Deeper.
You are love.
Feel the truth of these words pull your being down into the universe itself.
Feel the truth of these words ring through your soul,
Through your spirit,
Through your body.
Let them ring true that you are love.
You are loved.
You are loving.
You are perfect.
In this very moment,
You are perfect.
You don't have to change a thing.
Because in this very moment,
You are absolutely,
Undeniably perfect.
It's time to take three deep breaths.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale through the nose.
And exhale through the mouth.
Now on this third breath,
Breathe it all in through the nose.
Take it all in through the nose.
And now release,
Surrender,
And let go through the mouth.
Let it all go.
Let it all go.
Let go.
You are here now.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Become aware of the hair on your arms.
Become aware of the nape of your neck.
Become aware of where your eyebrows sit on your face.
And rest.
As your eyelashes rest on the tip tops of your cheeks,
Become aware of your breath.
Aware of your tummy.
Aware of where your feet are now.
And now you can open your eyes.
Open your eyes slowly,
Softly,
Smoothly.
Open your eyes.
And what do you see?
What do you see now?
What do you see now that you remember that you are loved?
That you are loved.
And that you are loving.
Oh,
Perhaps now you can be here just for a moment longer in this stillness and in this knowing of the truth of who you are.
And if you feel called,
Maybe you take this truth with you wherever you go just for today.
And if you forget,
You can always come back to this moment,
To this meditation.
