I guide you through a simple breathing technique that helps you calm down quickly. It's hands down one of the easiest and most effective ways to regulate your nervous system and reduce anxiety fast. So what is the physiological sigh? It's a double inhale through the nose (one full breath, plus a little extra sip of air), followed by a slow exhale through the mouth. You've probably done it naturally after crying or during a deep moment of relief - your body already knows it. This breath pattern signals your brain that you're safe and helps flip your nervous system from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest. Research, including studies from Stanford and Dr. Andrew Huberman, shows that just a few rounds of the physiological sigh can reduce anxiety, slow your heart rate, and bring down stress levels quickly.
