So what we are doing now is close your eyes and I just want you to notice your breathing just for a moment.

Just focus on your breath,

Just noticing each breath in and each breath out and just allow your own breathing to relax in its own way in its own time.

Everybody has their own rate of breathing which is suitable for them.

Just notice the rate of your breathing and how you can slow it down in a way to relax the top of your head.

Relax your eyes and your forehead.

Relax your face and your jaw.

Relax your neck and your shoulders.

Your arms,

Elbows,

Forearms and hands.

Relax your chest and your tummy.

Your upper back,

Mid back and lower back.

And then I want you to relax your hips,

Your thighs,

Knees,

Calves and your feet.

I want you to imagine that your feet are sinking down to the ground.

This is the way that I grow myself.

Imagine my feet going down into the ground and connecting with the earth.

Notice that solidity and connecting with the earth in this way.

I want you to become aware of your gross body,

Aware that you have a head,

That you have a trunk,

That you hold calm in,

You have arms and legs.

Now I want you to place your awareness on your left hand.

Really feel your left hand.

Start to notice all the sensations that are happening right there.

As you continue focusing on your left hand,

You might start to notice you can feel an energy inside and outside of your hand.

I get like tingling being around the outside of my hand,

Like a buzzing sort of energy.

Just notice what you've got.

This is your subtle energy system.

This energy system runs all the way around your body.

Now when you become more aware of this energy,

The different parts of your body,

It's really powerful and it really helps you to clear a lot of things out.

To really be able to tune into yourself,

Your own intuition.

It's like sometimes when you walk into a room and something doesn't feel right.

That's your subtle energy system,

Picking up on things.

I know when you go to somebody's house,

And you can tell by the couple in the house who are having an argument,

You can feel the air when you're walking,

How dense it is.

Again,

This is your subtle energy system.

Now I want you to become aware of that energy in your left arm.

You really notice that energy now,

And you can move that energy from your left hand,

Right up your left arm,

Going across your chest and your shoulders,

And go down your right arm,

Into your right hand.

Notice how that energy travels,

It moves.

Another thing you can do is that you can become aware of both your hands together.

So keeping your hands on your thighs,

Become aware of the energy in your left and your right hand at the same time.

And your left and your right arm.

I want you to come away from your hands,

And I want to lift your arms up just in front of you,

Big hands facing each other.

I want you to become aware of the energy between your hands.

I want you to notice where your energies touch.

Now the more tuned in,

The further apart you'll be,

You can feel the energy.

If you've never done this before,

You'll probably have your hands quite close together.

And just notice how it feels at that point where the energy from your left and from your right hand meet.

If you've got that,

You can just bring your hands back down to your lap again.

I want you to become aware of the energy system inside the main part of your body,

From your chest down to your stomach,

And up your belly.

Most people's problems come from events in the past,

And there's trapped energy from those events.

Fears tend to be in the tummy area,

Sadness tends to be in the chest,

Anxiety,

Stress and anger tends to be in the head.

I want you to tune in now to what you are noticing inside of your body.

Really become aware of the whereabouts in your body,

Your feeling,

Whatever it is about your feeling.

It could be slight heaviness,

Tingling sensation,

Vibration.

You might find that you have a feeling in your body that you really don't like.

If you do,

I just want you to allow that in for now.

I want you to really become aware of that feeling,

Become aware of the shape of it.

It's not a 2D thing,

It's actually 3D.

It has a front,

A back,

Sides,

Top and bottom.

Sometimes people can have quite a regular shape,

Sometimes when you have a feeling inside it's an irregular shape.

I've sometimes had these feelings and have been quite jagged.

There's no regularity to it whatsoever.

Just notice what you're feeling,

The way you're feeling it.

Just allowing that feeling to be.

I want you to give your body permission to metabolise this feeling.

You don't need to understand what that means,

You want to be okay with that because your body understands fully what I mean.

Just allow your body to start to metabolise that feeling.

You become aware of any changes in the shape of the feeling.

What you'll tend to find will happen as your body is metabolising the feeling.

The feeling will start to move down your body.

Don't force it to go down,

The body will just reject that.

It won't work this feeling properly.

Just allow it to move in its own time.

If you feel like emotions are coming up and they're coming quite strong,

Just allow them to come in.

Just check in,

Ask yourself,

Ask your energy system.

Do I feel safe now?

If you feel safe,

That's great.

If you don't feel safe,

That's also great.

You're experiencing something beyond what you're used to.

Just allow that feeling of not being safe into your body and be okay with it.

Allow your body to metabolise that feeling of not being safe.

How is that feeling that's moving down your body?

I want you to imagine that deep in the ground,

There's an underground stream and your energy is connecting to that stream and any negative energy that is moving down through your body is able to pass out through the soles of your feet into that stream.

When it touches that stream,

Any negative energy is instantly transmuted into a positive energy.

When that stream goes off to a different part of the world,

It could be going to a place where there is a lack of water.

It could be that animals who have been dehydrated are suddenly able to drink and benefit from this positive energy that's eating your body.

It might be that this energy is helping plants and trees to grow and become strong.

So the more this negative energy that you release,

Your body metabolises,

The more good you're able to do.

If you find that the energy feels stuck somewhere as it's moving down,

I want you to just feel okay with it feeling stuck.

Then again,

Ask your body to metabolise that stuck feeling.

This could be because you're in a point in your life where you're feeling stuck,

But you feel like you can't get out of something.

Whatever it is that's going on for you,

Just allow it in.

Be okay with it being there inside your energy system.

Lighten everything in your legs.

Going out,

Put the soles of your feet into that stream below.

If you need to spend more time on this after this meditation is finished,

Just be okay with that.

Just allow yourself to have that time to sit with the energy that you have and to allow it to process in its own time,

In its own way.

Another way we can use this subtle energy system is to tune into the feeling of your heart.

In a heart area,

Notice how it has a front,

A back,

A left,

A right,

A top and a bottom.

You might tune in to the shape of a real heart.

It could be a cartoon style heart that you imagine or feel.

Some people sense a ball of energy inside of them.

Whatever you feel is right for you.

Just notice that energy in your chest area.

Feel the love that's there inside of your hand.

Now I want to imagine that you have a diagonal that goes from zero to ten.

And each number that I count,

You double that feeling of love as you turn that dial up to that number.

So we're going to start doing that now.

Come to one,

Doubling that feeling of love inside of your heart.

Two,

Doubling it again,

Getting that feeling stronger now.

Getting that feeling around your trunk,

Around your car.

Three,

Doubling it again.

And just allowing that feeling to really spread around you.

Four,

Getting that feeling even stronger now,

Stronger inside you.

Spreading around the energy field.

Five,

Doubling it again,

Getting that feeling into your head,

Down your arms.

Six,

Doubling that feeling again as it goes down your legs,

Down into the ground.

So you're sending that love down into the ground.

Seven,

That love is shooting out as well from the top of your head now.

Shooting out into the sky.

Eight,

Doubling that feeling of love again as it's spreading around your body now.

Your whole body has been surrounded by this feeling.

Nine,

Spreading that feeling wide enough so it's filling the whole room that you're in.

Ten,

Doubling it again now,

And allowing this feeling to seal like a bubble.

So that everything inside this bubble is filled with this energy.

And when you breathe in,

You're breathing this feeling inside of you.

As you breathe out,

Anything that doesn't match up to this energy just goes outside of your body and outside of this bubble.

And just allow yourself to breathe like this for a moment.

Six,

Doubling that feeling.

You start to become aware of your body again.

Your feet,

Your lower legs,

Your upper legs,

Your hips,

Tummy,

Lower back,

Mid back,

Chest and lower back.

Shoulders,

Arms,

Hands,

Neck,

Face and head.

Start to wiggly toes and wiggly fingers.

In real time,

You can just open your eyes again.

Six,

Doubling that feeling.
