If you've ever experienced yourself overreacting to some minor incident or occurrence with a response that's completely unwarranted,
Disproportionate to what has happened,
What someone said,
What someone did,
Then we know that there's a gift in that reaction,
In those feelings that come up,
In that emotion that spilled over.
So we're taking the time right now to dig a little deeper,
To unearth and excavate the gems,
The treasures held in the subconscious mind.
We begin our meditation by gathering the tools we need to unearth and excavate the treasure buried in our subconscious mind.
One of those tools is our breath.
The other is a relaxed body,
A soothed mind.
So breathe in and breathe out and let your body release tension wherever it is being clasped or clenched.
Perhaps add some movement,
Taking a deep stretch,
Shrugging your shoulders up to your ears and as you exhale,
Allow your shoulders to roll down your back.
Unclench your toes and be the non-judgmental witness observer to the thoughts scrolling across the screen of your mind.
Is there anywhere else in your body that you need to let go of right now?
Exhale your next breath to that place now.
Let go.
Let relaxation come.
Let go.
Exhale your next breath to that place now.
Let go.
In this relaxed space,
Ask your subconscious mind to bring to the forefront any story,
Any belief,
Any unprocessed experience around an incident that has occurred in which your reaction is out of kilter,
Doesn't match the incident for this unwarranted response.
And listen deeply to what your subconscious wants to reveal.
If nothing comes to mind,
Just let go.
It will show up,
Maybe when you least expect it.
But here,
In this moment of stillness,
We intentionally create the space for the gems that are within us to shine their light of revelation into us.
Ok.
You you you you Like a spiritual sleuth Investigate all the space around the emotion It has clues To where the treasure is buried Let your mind reveal it to you now Look beyond the obvious Let your soul assist so that in this inner treasure hunt We can excavate and bring forth Explore and examine Clean up and then use for good the gems the riches the treasures waiting to be unearthed from the subconscious mind Breathe in Breathe in Breathe out Relax some more as you let go And let the breath the relaxation the stillness Transform the energy of those disproportionate reactions To reveal the gems and treasures hidden in the subconscious mind As we breathe in and breathe out And dig a little deeper in the stillness of this moment you you In that clear space that is the treasure trove of our expanded heart We receive the most priceless gift of all Grace The grace to forgive and be forgiven The grace to love ourselves our reactions our experiences and use them to grow the grace in the light of understanding and grace in the peace of this moment And now we bring our attention back to this time and place laden with gems and treasures priceless information We won't leave it stashed away in the treasure trove We will use it to heal and enrich our lives and the lives of those that touch ours Become aware once more of the sounds around you the air touching your skin the sensations in your body your peaceful heart your clear mind your willingness to grow And as you take in a deep breath,
Bring your hands to prayer position,
To your heart space From that place of excavated gems and treasures in me to that place of excavated gems and treasures in you I bow Namaste you
